| 2 | Na tok, Harim tok bilong BIKPELA, O king bilong Juda, husat i sindaun antap long sia king bilong Devit, yu, na ol wokboi bilong yu, na ol lain manmeri bilong yu husat i kam insait long ol dispela dua bilong banis. | And say, Hear the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates: |
| 3 | BIKPELA i tok olsem, Yupela mekim kot na stretpela pasin, na kisim bek ol man ol i kisim kago bilong pait bilong ol long han bilong man bilong givim hevi. Na no ken mekim rong, no ken wokim pasin pait long ausait man, man papa bilong em i dai pinis, o meri man bilong em i dai pinis, na tu no ken kapsaitim blut i no bin mekim rong long dispela ples. | Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. |

| 6 | Long wanem, BIKPELA i tok olsem long hauslain bilong king bilong Juda, Yu stap olsem Gileat long Mi, na het bilong Lebanon. Yet tru tumas, Mi bai mekim yu kamap wanpela ples i no gat man, na ol biktaun i no gat man i stap. | For thus saith the Lord unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited. |

Na ol bai katim i go daun ol nambawan sida bilong yu, na tromoi ol i go long paia. | And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire. |

| 9 | Nau ol bai bekim tok, Bilong wanem, ol i bin givim baksait long kontrak bilong BIKPELA, God bilong ol, na lotuim ol arapela god, na bihainim ol. | Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them. |
| 10 | ¶ Yupela no ken krai tru long daiman, o wokim krai sori long en. Tasol krai strong tru long em husat i wok long go pinis. Long wanem, em bai i no inap kam bek moa, o lukim as ples kantri bilong em. | Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country. |

| 13 | Tok lukaut i go long em husat i wokim haus bilong em long pasin i no stretpela, na ol rum bilong em long pasin i rong, husat i yusim wok bilong man i stap klostu long em na i no gat pe, na i no givim em samting long wok bilong em, | Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work; |
| 14 | Husat i tok, Mi bai wokim wanpela haus bilong mi i gat bikpela brait na i gat ol traipela rum, na em i katim ol windo bilong em, na wokim antap bilong rum bilong en wantaim sida, na penim wantaim vamilian. | That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion. |

Ating i yes long papa bilong yu i bin kaikai na dring, na wokim kot na stretpela kot, na nau ol samting i stap gutpela long em? | Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him? |
| 16 | Em i jasim wari bilong rabisman na ol man i gat nid. Nau ol samting i stap gutpela long em. Ating i yes long dispela em i pasin bilong save long Mi, BIKPELA i tok? | He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the Lord. |
| 17 | Tasol ol ai bilong yu na bel bilong yu i no narapela, tasol bilong pasin mangal bilong yu, na bilong kapsaitim blut i no bin mekim rong, na bilong givim hevi, na bilong pasin pait, long mekim dispela. | But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it. |
| 18 | Olsem na BIKPELA i tok olsem long sait bilong Jehoiakim, pikinini man bilong Josaia, king bilong Juda, Ol bai i no inap krai sori long em, i spik, Ah brata bilong mi, o, Ah susa! Ol bai i no inap krai sori long em, i spik, Ah bikman! o, Ah glori bilong em! | Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory! |
| 19 | Ol bai planim em wantaim pasin bilong planim wanpela donki, ol bai pulim em na rausim em i go ausait long ol dua bilong banis bilong Jerusalem. | He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem. |
| 20 | ¶ Go antap long Lebanon, na singaut. Na litimapim nek bilong yu long Basan, na singaut long ol pasis. Long wanem, olgeta man yu laikim tru i bagarap olgeta. | Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed. |

Dispela i bin stap pasin bilong yu taim yu stap yangpela inap long nau, long yu no bihainim nek bilong Mi. | I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice. |

Tru tumas, nau bai yu sem na paul tru long olgeta pasin nogut bilong yu. | The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness. |
| 23 | O man i stap long Lebanon, husat i wokim haus pisin bilong yu antap long ol sida, yu bai mekim gutpela olsem wanem taim ol bikpela pen i kam antap long yu, pen olsem wanpela meri i hatwok long karim pikinini! | O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail! |
| 24 | Olsem Mi stap laip, BIKPELA i tok, maski Konaia, pikinini man bilong Jehoiakim, king bilong Juda i stap olsem samting bilong putim mak i stap long han sut bilong Mi, yet bai Mi kamautim yu long dispela ples. | As I live, saith the Lord, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; |
| 25 | Na Mi bai givim yu long han bilong ol husat i painim laip bilong yu, na long han bilong ol husat pes bilong ol yu i pret long ol, yes, i go long han bilong Nebukadresar king bilong Babilon, na i go long han bilong ol lain Kaldia. | And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans. |

Olsem wanem na Mi tromoi ol i go ausait, em na tumbuna pikinini bilong em, na Mi tromoi ol i go insait long wanpela hap, dispela ol i no save long en? | Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not? |

Long wanem, i no gat man bilong tumbuna pikinini bilong em bai kamap gutpela, na sindaun antap long sia king bilong Devit, na bosim kingdom long Juda moa liklik. | Thus saith the Lord, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. |
