| 3 | Na yu tokim ol, God BIKPELA bilong Isrel i tok olsem, Tok nogut i stap long man husat i no bihainim ol toktok bilong dispela kontrak, | And say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, |
| 4 | Dispela Mi tok strong long ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela long dispela de Mi bringim ol i kam ausait long hap bilong Isip, long ples bilong strongpela paia ain, i spik, Bihainim nek bilong Mi, na mekim ol, bilong bihainim olgeta samting Mi tok strong long yupela long mekim. Olsem tasol yupela bai stap lain manmeri bilong Mi, na Mi bai stap God bilong yupela, | Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: |

Nau mi bekim, na tok, Em i mas stap olsem, O BIKPELA. | That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O Lord. |
| 6 | Nau BIKPELA i tokim mi, Autim toksave long olgeta dispela toktok long ol biktaun bilong Juda, na long ol rot bilong Jerusalem, i spik, Yupela harim ol toktok bilong dispela kontrak, na bihainim ol. | Then the Lord said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them. |
| 7 | Long wanem, Mi bin mekim strongpela tok tru i birua long ol tumbuna papa bilong yupela long dispela de Mi bringim ol i kam ausait long hap bilong Isip, yes, i kam inap long tude, taim Mi kirap long moning tru na mekim strongpela tok i birua, i spik, Bihainim nek bilong Mi. | For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice. |

Olsem na Mi bai bringim antap long ol olgeta toktok bilong dispela kontrak, dispela Mi tok strong long ol long mekim. Tasol ol i no mekim. | Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not. |
| 9 | Na BIKPELA i tokim mi, Mi painim pinis wanpela tok hait namel long ol man bilong Juda, na namel long ol man i stap long Jerusalem. | And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
| 10 | Ol i tanim i go bek long ol sin nogut bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, husat i tok nogat long harim ol toktok bilong Mi. Na ol i go bihainim ol arapela god bilong bihainim ol. Hauslain bilong Isrel na hauslain bilong Juda i bin brukim kontrak bilong Mi, dispela Mi wokim wantaim ol tumbuna papa bilong ol. | They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. |

Na maski ol i singaut long Mi, Mi bai i no inap harim ol. | Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. |
| 12 | Nau ol biktaun bilong Juda na ol man i stap long Jerusalem bai go, na singaut long ol god husat ol i ofaim insens i go long ol. Tasol ol bai i no inap kisim bek ol liklik long taim bilong trabel bilong ol. | Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. |
| 13 | Long wanem, bilong bihainim namba bilong ol biktaun bilong yupela ol god bilong yupela i stap, O Juda. Na bilong bihainim namba bilong ol rot bilong Jerusalem yupela i bin sanapim ol alta long dispela samting bilong givim sem, yes, ol alta bilong kukim insens i go long Beal. | For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. |
| 14 | Olsem na no ken beten long dispela lain manmeri, na tu yu no ken litimapim wanpela singaut o prea bilong helpim ol. Long wanem, Mi bai i no inap harim ol long taim ol i singaut long Mi long trabel bilong ol. | Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. |
| 15 | Meri i klostu tru long bel bilong Mi i gat wanem wok long haus bilong Mi, taim yumi luksave olsem meri i bin wokim pamuk rot pasin wantaim planti, na mit holi i lusim yu i go? Taim yu mekim pasin nogut, nau yu wokim amamas tru. | What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. |
| 16 | BIKPELA i kolim nem bilong yu, Wanpela grinpela diwai oliv, naispela, na i gat nambawan kaikai. Wantaim nois bilong bikpela paul nabaut em i bin kirapim paia antap long en, na ol han diwai bilong en i bruk pinis. | The Lord called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. |
| 17 | Long wanem, BIKPELA bilong ol ami, husat i planim yu, i bin kolim wanpela samting nogut i birua long yu, long pasin nogut bilong hauslain bilong Isrel na bilong hauslain bilong Juda, dispela ol i bin wokim i birua long ol yet bilong skrapim bel bilong Mi long belhat taim ol i ofaim insens i go long Beal. | For the Lord of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal. |
| 18 | ¶ Na BIKPELA i bin givim mi save long dispela, na mi save long en. Nau Yu soim mi ol samting ol i mekim. | And the Lord hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings. |

Na mi no save long ol i bin kamapim ol plen i birua long mi, i spik, Larim yumi bagarapim diwai olgeta wantaim kaikai bilong en, na larim yumi rausim em long hap bilong ol man i stap laip, inap long ol i no inap holim tingting long nem bilong em moa. | But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. |

Long wanem, long Yu mi bin kamapim ples klia wari bilong mi. | But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. |
| 21 | Olsem na BIKPELA i tok olsem long stat bilong ol man bilong Anatot, husat i painim laip bilong yu, i spik, No ken autim tok profet long nem bilong BIKPELA, inap long yu no dai long han bilong mipela. | Therefore thus saith the Lord of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hand: |
| 22 | Olsem na BIKPELA bilong ol ami i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai wokim mekim save long ol. Ol yangpela man bai dai long bainat. Ol pikinini man bilong ol na ol pikinini meri bilong ol bai dai long bikpela taim hangre. | Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine: |
| 23 | Na bai i no gat hap lain i stap yet bilong ol. Long wanem, Mi bai bringim samting nogut antap long ol man bilong Anatot, yes, yia bilong Mi kam lukim ol. | And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation. |
