1	¶ Na profet Ilaisa i singautim wanpela bilong ol pikinini bilong ol profet, na tokim em, Pasim strong ol namel bilong bel bilong yu, na kisim dispela bokis wel long han bilong yu, na go long Ramot-gileat	And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth–gilead:
2	Na taim yu kam long dispela hap, painim long dispela hap Jehu, pikinini man bilong Jehosafat, pikinini man bilong Nimsi, na go insait, na mekim em kirap long namel bilong ol brata bilong em, na karim em i go long wanpela rum insait.	And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;
3	Nau kisim dispela bokis wel, na kapsaitim dispela antap long het bilong em, na tok, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Mi bin makim yu king long bosim Isrel. Nau opim dua, na ranawe, na yu no ken stap yet.	Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
4	Olsem na dispela yangpela man, yes, dispela yangpela man dispela profet, i go long Ramot-gileat.	So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth–gilead.
5	Na taim em i kam, lukim, ol kepten bilong ami i sindaun. Na em i tok, Mi gat wanpela wok long yu, O kepten. Na Jehu i tok, Long husat namel long mipela olgeta? Na em i tok, Long yu, O kepten.	And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.
6	Na em i kirap, na go insait long haus. Na em i kapsaitim wel antap long het bilong em, na tokim em, God BIKPELA bilong Isrel, i tok olsem, Mi bin makim yu king long bosim ol manmeri bilong BIKPELA, yes, long bosim Isrel.	And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel.
7	Na yu bai paitim hauslain bilong Ehap, bikman bilong yu, inap long Mi ken bekim pe nogut long blut bilong ol wokboi bilong Mi ol profet, na blut bilong olgeta wokboi bilong BIKPELA, long han bilong Jesebel.	And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.
8	Long wanem, hauslain olgeta bilong Ehap bai dai olgeta. Na Mi bai rausim olgeta long Ehap em husat i save pispis long banis, na em husat i pas na i stap yet long Isrel.	For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:
9	Na Mi bai mekim hauslain bilong Ehap wankain olsem hauslain bilong Jeroboam, pikinini man bilong Nibat, na wankain olsem hauslain bilong Beasa, pikinini man bilong Ahaisa.	And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
10	Na ol dok bai kaikai Jesebel long hap skel bilong Jesril, na bai i no gat wanpela long planim em. Na em i opim dua, na ranawe.	And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.
11	¶ Nau Jehu i kam ausait long ol wokboi bilong bikman bilong em. Na wanpela i tokim em, Olgeta samting i orait? Olsem wanem na dispela longlong man i kam long yu? Na em i tokim ol, Yupela save long dispela man, na toktok bilong em.	Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.
12	Na ol i tok, Em i giaman samting. Tokim mipela nau. Na em i tok, Olsem na olsem em i toktok long mi, i spik, BIKPELA i tok olsem, Mi bin makim yu king long bosim Isrel.	And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel.
13	Nau ol i hariap, na olgeta wan wan man i kisim klos bilong em, na putim dispela aninit long em antap long lata, na winim ol biugel, i spik, Jehu em i king.	Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
14	Olsem na Jehu, pikinini man bilong Jehosafat, pikinini man bilong Nimsi, i pasim tok hait long birua long Joram. (Nau Joram i bin lukautim gut Ramot-gileat, em na olgeta Isrel, bilong wanem, Hasel, king bilong Siria i stap.	So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. (Now Joram had kept Ramoth–gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, If it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel.
16	¶ Olsem na Jehu i ran antap long wanpela karis, na go long Jesril. Long wanem, Joram i slip long dispela hap. Na Ehasaia, king bilong Juda, i kam daun long lukim Joram.	So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram.
17	Na i gat wanpela wasman i sanap long taua long Jesril, na em i lukim lain ami bilong Jehu taim em i kam, na tok, Mi lukim wanpela lain ami. Na Joram i tok, Kisim wanpela man i ran long hos, na salim em long bungim ol, na larim em tok, Em i bel isi?	And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?
18	Olsem na wanpela i ran antap long hos long bungim em, na tok, King i tok olsem, Em i bel isi? Na Jehu i tok, Yu gat wanem wok wantaim bel isi? Yu tanim na bihainim mi. Na wasman i stori, i spik, Mausman i kamap long ol, tasol em i no kam bek gen.	So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
19	Nau em i salim i go ausait namba tu man antap long hos, husat i kamap long ol, na tok, King i tok olsem, Em i bel isi? Na Jehu i bekim tok, Yu gat wanem wok wantaim bel isi? Yu tanim na bihainim mi.	Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.
20	Na wasman i stori, i spik, Em i kamap, yes, long ol, na em i no kam gen. Na ran bilong karis em i olsem ran bilong Jehu, pikinini man bilong Nimsi. Long wanem, em i ranim karis hariap nogut tru.	And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.
21	Na Joram i tok, Redim. Na ol i redim karis bilong em. Na Joram, king bilong Isrel, na Ehasaia, king bilong Juda, i go ausait, wan wan long karis bilong em yet, na ol i go ausait klostu long Jehu, na bungim em long dispela hap skel bilong man Jesril Nebot.	And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.
22	Na em i kamap olsem, taim Joram i lukim Jehu, long em i tok, Em i bel isi, Jehu? Na em i bekim tok, Wanem bel isi, taim ol pasin pamuk bilong mama bilong yu Jesebel i stap yet olsem na ol poisin pasin bilong em i planti olsem?	And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?
23	Na Joram i tanim tupela han bilong em, na ranawe, na tokim Ehasaia, I gat trik pasin, O Ehasaia.	And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, There is treachery, O Ahaziah.
24	Na Jehu i taitim wanpela banara wantaim olgeta strong bilong em, na paitim Jehoram namel long tupela han bilong em, na spia i go ausait long klok bilong em, na em i go daun isi isi insait long karis bilong em.	And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
25	Nau Jehu i tokim Bitkar, kepten bilong em, Kisim em i go antap, na tromoi em long hap skel bilong bikpela gaden bilong man Jesril Nebot. Long wanem, tingim gen, taim mi na yu i ran wantaim bihain long Ehap, papa bilong em, long BIKPELA i putim dispela hevi antap long em olsem wanem,	Then said Jehu to Bidkar his captain, Take up, and cast him in the portion of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite: for remember how that, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord laid this burden upon him;
26	Tru tumas, Mi bin lukim asde blut bilong Nebot, na blut bilong ol pikinini man bilong em, BIKPELA i tok. Na Mi bai bekim pe long yu long dispela hap, BIKPELA i tok. Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the Lord; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the Lord. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the Lord.
27	Tasol taim Ehasaia, king bilong Juda, i lukim dispela, em i ranawe long rot bilong haus gaden. Na Jehu i bihainim em, na tok, Paitim em tu long karis. Na ol i mekim olsem long hap i go antap long Gur, dispela i klostu long Ipleam. Na em i ranawe i go long Megido, na dai pinis long dispela hap.	But when Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in the chariot. And they did so at the going up to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there.
28	Na ol wokboi bilong em i karim em insait long wanpela karis i go long Jerusalem, na planim em long matmat bilong em wantaim ol tumbuna papa bilong em long biktaun bilong Devit.	And his servants carried him in a chariot to Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of David.
29	Na long namba 11 yia bilong Joram, pikinini man bilong Ehap, Ehasaia i stat long bosim kingdom long Juda.	And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of Ahab began Ahaziah to reign over Judah.
30	¶ Na taim Jehu i kam long Jesril, Jesebel i harim stori long dispela. Na em i penim pes bilong em, na bilasim het bilong em, na lukluk i go ausait long wanpela windo.	And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.
31	Na taim Jehu i wok long kam insait long dua bilong banis, meri i tok, Ating Simri i gat bel isi, husat i kilim i dai bikman bilong em?	And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?
32	Na man i apim pes bilong em long dispela windo, na tok, Husat i stap long sait bilong mi? Husat? Na i gat tupela o tripela yunik husat i lukluk long em i kam ausait.	And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.
33	Na em i tok, Tromoi em i kam daun. Olsem na ol i tromoi em i kam daun. Na sampela blut bilong em i sut i go isi isi long banis, na antap long ol hos. Na em i krungutim em aninit long fut.	And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.
34	Na taim em i kam insait, em i bin kaikai na dring, na tok, Go, lukluk nau long dispela meri nogut tru, na planim em. Long wanem, em i pikinini meri bilong wanpela king.	And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king’s daughter.
35	Na ol i go long planim em. Tasol ol i no lukim hap moa bilong em , bun bilong het, na tupela fut, na ol insait bilong tupela han bilong em tasol.	And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
36	Olsem na ol i kam gen, na tokim em. Na em i tok, Dispela em i tok bilong BIKPELA, dispela Em i toktok long maus bilong wokboi bilong Em, man Tisbe Ilaija, i spik, Long dispela hap skel bilong Jesril ol dok bai kaikai mit bilong Jesebel.	Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
37	Na daibodi bilong Jesebel bai stap olsem pekpek antap long pes bilong ples kunai long hap skel bilong Jesril, inap long ol bai i no inap tok, Dispela em i Jesebel.	And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.
