Na larim ol i givim dispela long ol man bilong wokim wok, husat i stap insait long haus bilong BIKPELA, bilong stretim ol bruk bilong haus, | And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the Lord: and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the Lord, to repair the breaches of the house, |
| 6 | Long ol kamda, na ol man bilong wokim haus, na ol man bilong wok long ol ston, na long baim diwai na ol ston ol i katim pinis long stretim dispela haus. | Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house. |
| 7 | Tasol ol i no wokim pasin bilong kaunim wantaim ol long dispela mani i go long han bilong ol, bilong wanem, ol i wokim wok wantaim bilip oltaim. | Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully. |

Na Hilkaia i givim dispela buk long Safan, na em i ritim dispela. | And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it. |
| 9 | Na man bilong rait Safan i kam long king, na bringim king tok gen, na tok, Ol wokboi bilong yu i bin bungim ol dispela mani ol i lukim insait long dispela haus, na sampela i bin givim dispela i go long han bilong ol man husat i mekim wok, husat i gat wok bilong bosim haus bilong BIKPELA. | And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the Lord. |

| 12 | Na king i tok strong long pris Hilkaia, na Ahikam, pikinini man bilong Safan, na Akbor, pikinini man bilong Mikea, na man bilong rait Safan, na Asahaia, wanpela wokboi bilong king, i spik, | And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying, |
| 13 | Yupela go, askim long BIKPELA bilong helpim mi, na bilong helpim ol manmeri, na bilong helpim olgeta Juda, long sait bilong ol toktok bilong dispela buk, dispela em i painim pinis. Long wanem, belhat tru bilong BIKPELA i kirap i birua long yumi i bikpela, bilong wanem, ol tumbuna papa bilong yumi i no bin harim ol toktok bilong dispela buk, bilong mekim bilong bihainim olgeta dispela samting Em i raitim long sait bilong yumi. | Go ye, enquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us. |

Na ol i stori wantaim meri. | So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her. |

| 16 | BIKPELA i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai bringim samting nogut antap long dispela ples, na antap long ol man i stap long en, yes, olgeta toktok i stap long dispela buk king bilong Juda i bin ritim. | Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read: |

Olsem na belhat tru bilong Mi bai kirap na birua long dispela ples, na i no gat man bai kilim dispela i dai. | Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched. |

| 19 | Bikos bel bilong yu i no strong, na yu bin daunim yu yet long ai bilong BIKPELA, taim yu harim wanem samting Mi tok birua long dispela ples, na tok birua long ol man i stap long en, long ol bai kamap wanpela lain i stap nating olgeta na wanpela tok nogut, na yu bin brukim klos bilong yu, na krai tru long ai bilong mi, orait Mi tu i bin harim yu, BIKPELA i tok. | Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the Lord. |

Na ol i bringim tok long king gen. | Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again. |
