And his mother’s name was Zibiah of Beer–sheba. |

| 4 | ¶ Na Jehoas i tokim ol pris, Olgeta mani bilong ol samting ol man i makim long BIKPELA, dispela ol i bringim insait long haus bilong BIKPELA, yes, mani bilong olgeta wan wan husat i givim antap long mak, dispela mani long ol i makim long olgeta wan wan man, na olgeta dispela mani i kam insait long bel bilong wanpela man long bringim insait long haus bilong BIKPELA, | And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the Lord, even the money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set at, and all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into the house of the Lord, |

Olsem na nau yupela i no ken kisim mani moa long ol man yupela i save long em, tasol givim dispela bilong stretim ol hap i bruk bilong dispela haus. | Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house. |

Na ol pris husat i save lukautim dua i putim insait long en olgeta dispela mani ol i bringim insait long haus bilong BIKPELA. | But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the Lord: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the Lord. |

| 11 | Na ol i givim dispela mani, taim ol i kaunim pinis, long han bilong ol lain husat i wokim wok, husat i gat wok bilong bosim haus bilong BIKPELA. Na ol i tilim i go long ol kamda na ol man bilong wokim haus, inap long ol i wok long haus bilong BIKPELA, | And they gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had the oversight of the house of the Lord: and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders, that wrought upon the house of the Lord, |
| 12 | Na long ol man bilong wokim simen, na ol man bilong katim ston, na long baim diwai na ol ston ol i katim pinis long stretim ol hap i bruk long haus bilong BIKPELA, na bilong olgeta samting ol i givim bilong dispela haus, bilong stretim dispela. | And to masons, and hewers of stone, and to buy timber and hewed stone to repair the breaches of the house of the Lord, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it. |
| 13 | Tasol ol i no wokim bilong haus bilong BIKPELA ol dis silva, ol samting bilong kilim paia, ol traipela dis, ol biugel, sampela sospen samting gol, o ol sospen samting silva, bilong dispela mani ol i bringim insait long haus bilong BIKPELA. | Howbeit there were not made for the house of the Lord bowls of silver, snuffers, basons, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the house of the Lord: |
| 14 | Tasol ol i givim dispela long ol wokman, na wantaim dispela ol i stretim haus bilong BIKPELA. | But they gave that to the workmen, and repaired therewith the house of the Lord. |
| 15 | Na moa tu ol i no kaunim mani wantaim ol man, husat ol i givim dispela mani i go long han bilong ol bilong givim long ol wokman. Long wanem, ol i wokim wok wantaim bilip oltaim. | Moreover they reckoned not with the men, into whose hand they delivered the money to be bestowed on workmen: for they dealt faithfully. |
| 16 | Mani bilong sakim lo na sin mani, ol i no bringim insait long haus bilong BIKPELA. Dispela em i bilong ol pris. | The trespass money and sin money was not brought into the house of the Lord: it was the priests’. |
| 17 | ¶ Nau Hasel, king bilong Siria, i go antap, na pait birua long Gat, na kisim dispela. Na Hasel i putim pes bilong em long go antap long Jerusalem. | Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it: and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem. |
| 18 | Na Jehoahas, king bilong Juda, i kisim olgeta dispela samting i holi olgeta Jehosafat, na Jehoram, na Ehasaia, ol tumbuna papa bilong em, ol king bilong Juda, i bin makim bilong BIKPELA, na ol samting i holi olgeta bilong em yet, na olgeta dispela gol ol i painim pinis insait long ples bilong samting dia tru bilong haus bilong BIKPELA, na long haus bilong king, na salim dispela long Hasel, king bilong Siria. Na em i go lusim Jerusalem. | And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem. |

Na Amasaia, pikinini man bilong em, i kisim ples bilong em na bosim kingdom. | For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead. |
