Na glori bilong BIKPELA i pulimapim dispela haus. | Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house. |

Long wanem, sori bilong Em i stap strong yet oltaim oltaim. | And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. |

Na ol pris i winim ol biugel long ai bilong ol, na olgeta Isrel i sanap. | And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the Lord, which David the king had made to praise the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood. |

| 14 | Sapos lain manmeri bilong Mi, husat ol i kolim long nem bilong Mi, bai daunim ol yet, na beten, na painim pes bilong Mi, na tanim na lusim ol rot nogut bilong ol, orait bai Mi harim long heven, na bai Mi lusim sin bilong ol, na Mi bai oraitim hap bilong ol. | If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. |
| 15 | Nau ol ai bilong Mi bai stap op, na ol ia bilong Mi bai stap op long dispela prea ol i mekim long dispela ples. | Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. |
| 16 | Long wanem, nau Mi bin makim na mekim i kamap holi dispela haus, inap long nem bilong Mi i ken stap long dispela hap oltaim oltaim. Na ol ai bilong Mi na bel bilong Mi bai stap long dispela hap oltaim. | For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. |
| 17 | Na long sait bilong yu, sapos yu bai wokabaut long ai bilong Mi, olsem Devit, papa bilong yu, i bin wokabaut, na mekim bilong bihainim olgeta samting Mi bin tok strong long yu, na yu bai lukluk gut long ol lo Mi bin raitim na ol kot bilong Mi, | And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; |
| 18 | Orait bai Mi strongim sia king bilong kingdom bilong yu, bilong bihainim wankain olsem Mi bin wokim kontrak wantaim Devit, papa bilong yu, i spik, Bai i no inap fel long yu long gat wanpela man bilong stap hetman long Isrel. | Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel. |

Na dispela haus, dispela Mi bin mekim i kamap holi long nem bilong Mi, bai Mi tromoi ausait long hap ai bilong Mi i lukim, na Mi bai mekim dispela long stap wanpela provep na wanpela hap tok namel long olgeta kantri. | Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. |

| 22 | Na dispela ol bai bekim tok, Bilong wanem, ol i givim baksait long God BIKPELA bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol, husat i bringim ol i kam ausait, ausait long hap bilong Isip, na holimpas ol arapela god, na lotuim ol, na bihainim ol. Olsem na Em i bin bringim olgeta dispela samting nogut antap long ol. | And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them. |
