절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Bihain long ol dispela samting, na strongim bilong en, Senakerip, king bilong Asiria, i kam na i go insait long Juda, na wokim kem i birua long ol biktaun i gat banis, na em i tingting long winim ol bilong em yet. After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
Na taim Hesekaia i luksave long Senakerip i kam pinis, na long em i wokim tingting long pait birua long Jerusalem, And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem,
Em i kisim tok helpim wantaim ol hetman bilong em na ol strongpela man bilong em long pasim ol wara bilong ol dispela ai bilong wara i sut i stap ausait long biktaun. Na ol i bin helpim em. He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him.
Olsem na em i gat planti manmeri i bung wantaim, husat i pasim olgeta ai bilong wara i sut, na dispela liklik wara i ran namel long namel bilong dispela hap, i spik, Bilong wanem ol king bilong Asiria i ken kam, na painim planti wara? So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?
Na tu em i strongim em yet, na wokim i go antap olgeta dispela banis i bruk, na kirapim dispela i go antap inap long ol taua, na narapela banis ausait, na stretim Milo long biktaun bilong Devit, na wokim ol liklik spia na ol plang i planti moa yet. Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.
Na em i putim ol kepten bilong bikpela pait long bosim ol manmeri, na bungim ol wantaim i go long em long rot bilong dua bilong banis bilong biktaun, na toktok long givim bel isi long ol, i spik, And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,
Stap strong na strong bilong pait, no ken pret o wari planti long king bilong Asiria, o long olgeta dispela planti manmeri tru i stap wantaim em. Long wanem, i gat moa i stap wantaim yumi long i stap wantaim em. Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:
Wantaim em em wanpela han bilong bodi. Tasol wantaim yumi BIKPELA, God bilong yumi, i stap long helpim yumi, na long paitim ol pait bilong yumi. Na ol manmeri ol yet i malolo antap long ol toktok bilong Hesekaia, king bilong Juda. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
¶ Bihain long dispela, Senakerip, king bilong Asiria, i bin salim ol wokboi bilong em long Jerusalem, (tasol em em yet i wokim wok bilong pasim biktaun i birua long Lekis, na olgeta pawa bilong em wantaim em,) i go long Hesekaia, king bilong Juda, na i go long olgeta Juda husat i stap long Jerusalem, i spik, After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,
Senakerip, king bilong Asiria, i tok olsem, Yupela i putim bilip antap long we, inap long yupela stap yet long pasim bilong Jerusalem? Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?
Ating i yes long Hesekaia i pulim tingting bilong yupela long givim yupela yet i go long dai long bikpela taim hangre na long nek drai, i spik, BIKPELA, God bilong yumi, bai kisim bek yumi ausait long han bilong king bilong Asiria? Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The Lord our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
Ating i yes long dispela Hesekaia stret i bin tekewe ol ples antap bilong Em na ol alta bilong Em, na tok strong long Juda na Jerusalem, i spik, Yupela bai lotu long ai bilong wanpela alta, na kukim insens antap long en? Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?
Ating i yes long yupela i save wanem samting mi na ol tumbuna papa bilong mi i bin mekim long olgeta lain manmeri bilong ol arapela hap? Ating ol god bilong ol kantri bilong ol dispela hap i bin inap liklik long kisim bek ol hap graun bilong ol ausait long han bilong mi? Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?
Husat i stap namel long olgeta god bilong ol dispela kantri husat ol tumbuna papa bilong mi i bagarapim olgeta, husat i inap long kisim bek ol manmeri bilong em ausait long han bilong mi, inap long God bilong yupela i ken inap long kisim bek yupela ausait long han bilong mi? Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?
Olsem na nau yupela i no ken larim Hesekaia giamanim yupela, o pulim tingting bilong yupela long dispela kain, o yet bilipim em tu. Long wanem, i no gat wanpela god bilong wanpela kantri o kingdom i inap long kisim bek ol manmeri bilong em ausait long han bilong mi, na ausait long han bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong mi. Hamas liklik moa bai God bilong yupela i no inap long kisim bek yupela ausait long han bilong mi? Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?
Na ol wokboi bilong em i toktok moa yet i birua long God BIKPELA, na i birua long wokboi bilong Em Hesekaia. And his servants spake yet more against the Lord God, and against his servant Hezekiah.
Em i raitim tu ol pas bilong daunim tru God BIKPELA bilong Isrel, na bilong toktok birua long Em, i spik, Olsem ol god bilong ol kantri na ol arapela hap i no bin inap long kisim bek ol manmeri bilong ol ausait long han bilong mi, olsem tasol bai God bilong Hesekaia i no inap long kisim bek ol manmeri bilong Em ausait long han bilong mi. He wrote also letters to rail on the Lord God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.
Nau ol i singaut wantaim wanpela bikpela nek long tok ples bilong ol Ju i go long ol manmeri bilong Jerusalem husat i stap antap long banis, long pretim ol, na long givim hevi long ol, inap long ol i ken kisim dispela biktaun. Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.
Na ol i tok birua long God bilong Jerusalem, olsem ol i tok birua long ol god bilong ol manmeri bilong dispela graun, dispela i stap wok bilong ol han bilong man. And they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.
Na long dispela as king Hesekaia, na profet Aisea, pikinini man bilong Emos, i beten na singaut long heven. And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.
Na BIKPELA i salim wanpela ensel, husat i rausim olgeta olgeta strongpela man tru bilong pait, na ol lida na ol kepten long kem bilong king bilong Asiria. Olsem na em i go bek wantaim sem bilong pes i go long hap bilong em yet. Na taim em i kam insait long haus bilong god bilong em, ol husat i kam ausait long ol rop bilong bel bilong em yet i kilim em i dai long dispela hap wantaim bainat. And the Lord sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
Olsem tasol BIKPELA i kisim bek Hesekaia na ol husat i stap long Jerusalem long han bilong Senakerip, king bilong Asiria, na long han bilong olgeta arapela, na stiaim ol long olgeta wan wan sait. Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.
Na planti i bringim ol presen i go long BIKPELA long Jerusalem, na ol presen long Hesekaia, king bilong Juda, inap long God i litimapim em long ai bilong olgeta kantri long dispela taim i go. And many brought gifts unto the Lord to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.
¶ Long ol dispela de Hesekaia i sik inap long dai, na em i beten i go long BIKPELA. Na Em i tokim em, na Em i givim em wanpela mak. In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the Lord: and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign.
Tasol Hesekaia i no mekim gut gen bilong bihainim gutpela wok God i mekim long em. Long wanem, bel bilong en em i go antap tumas. Olsem na i gat belhat tru antap long em, na antap long Juda na Jerusalem. But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.
Tasol Hesekaia i daunim em yet long hambak pasin bilong bel bilong em, em na ol husat i stap long Jerusalem wantaim, inap long belhat tru bilong BIKPELA i no kam antap long ol long ol de bilong Hesekaia. Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
Na Hesekaia i gat planti mani samting na ona i moa yet. Na em i wokim bilong em yet ol bakstua bilong silva, na bilong gol, na bilong ol ston i dia tumas, na bilong ol spais, na bilong ol plang, na bilong olgeta kain kain bilas i dia tru i gutpela, And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;
Ol haus bilong putim kago tu bilong wit samting i kamap planti moa, na wain, na wel. Na em i wokim ol rum bilong olgeta kain kain animal, na ol haus bilong ol lain sipsip. Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.
Na moa tu em i redim bilong em ol biktaun, na ol holimpas bilong ol lain sipsip na ol lain bulmakau i planti moa yet. Long wanem, God i bin givim em kago i planti tru. Moreover he provided him cities, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.
Dispela Hesekaia stret tu i pasim rot bilong wara antap bilong Gihon, na bringim dispela i kam stret daun long hap wes sait bilong biktaun bilong Devit. Na Hesekaia i kamap gutpela long olgeta wok bilong em. This same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.
Tasol long dispela wok bilong ol mausman bilong ol hetman bilong Babilon, husat i salim long em long askim long dispela samting bilong winim tingting i bin kamap long dispela hap, God i lusim em, long traim em, inap long Em i ken save olgeta samting i stap long bel bilong em. Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.
Nau olgeta arapela bilong wok bilong Hesekaia, na gutpela pasin bilong em, lukim, ol i raitim ol long driman samting bilong profet Aisea, pikinini man bilong Emos, na long buk bilong ol king bilong Juda na Isrel. Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
Na Hesekaia i slip wantaim ol tumbuna papa bilong em, na ol i planim em long nambawan bilong ol matmat bilong ol pikinini man bilong Devit. Na olgeta Juda na ol husat i stap long Jerusalem i bin givim ona long em taim em i dai pinis. Na Manasa, pikinini man bilong em, i kisim ples bilong em na bosim kingdom. And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
