| 2 | Na em i putim ol soldia long olgeta biktaun i gat banis bilong Juda, na putim ol lain ami long hap bilong Juda, na long ol biktaun bilong Ifraim, dispela Esa, papa bilong em, i bin kisim. | And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken. |

| 7 | Na tu long namba tri yia bilong em i bosim kingdom em i salim tok long ol hetman bilong em, yes, long Ben-hail, na long Obadaia, na long Sekaraia, na long Netanel, na long Mikea, long skulim ol man long ol biktaun bilong Juda. | Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Ben–hail, and to Obadiah, and to Zechariah, and to Nethaneel, and to Michaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah. |

Na wantaim ol Elisama na Jehoram, ol pris. | And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tob–adonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests. |

Na ol lain Arap i bringim em ol lain sipsip samting, 7,700 sipsip man, na 7,700 meme man. | Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats. |

Bilong Juda, ol kepten bilong ol wan tausen, Atna nambawan, na wantaim em ol strongpela man tru bilong pait 300,000. | And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Judah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valour three hundred thousand. |

| 18 | Na bihain long em em Jehosabat, na wantaim em 180,000 i redi stret long bikpela pait. | And next him was Jehozabad, and with him an hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war. |
| 19 | Ol dispela i mekim wok long king, dispela i no kaunim ol husat king i putim long ol biktaun i gat banis namel long olgeta hap bilong Juda. | These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Judah. |
