Tasol sapos yupela givim baksait long Em, Em bai givim baksait long yupela. | And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |

| 8 | ¶ Na taim Esa i harim ol dispela toktok, na dispela tok profet bilong profet Odet, em i kisim strong bilong pait, na rausim i go ol piksa bilong god giaman i sting ausait long olgeta hap bilong Juda na Benjamin, na ausait long olgeta dispela biktaun em i bin kisim long maunten Ifraim, na em i stretim gen alta bilong BIKPELA, dispela i stap long ai bilong veranda bilong BIKPELA. | And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord. |

| 14 | Na ol i wokim strongpela promis i go long BIKPELA wantaim wanpela nek i strong, na wantaim singaut, na wantaim ol biugel, na wantaim ol kornet. | And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets. |
| 15 | Na olgeta Juda i wokim amamas tru long dispela strongpela promis. Long wanem, ol i bin wokim strongpela promis wantaim olgeta bel bilong ol, na painim Em wantaim olgeta laik bilong ol. Na Em i larim ol i painim Em pinis. Na BIKPELA i givim ol malolo raun nabaut. | And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about. |

Na Esa i katim i go daun piksa bilong god giaman bilong em, na krungutim dispela, na kukim dispela olgeta long liklik wara Kidron. | And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron. |

| 18 | Na em i bringim insait long haus bilong God ol dispela samting papa bilong em i bin makim, na dispela em yet i bin makim, silva, na gol, na ol sospen samting. | And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels. |
| 19 | Na i no gat bikpela pait moa i go inap long namba 35 yia bilong Esa i bosim kingdom. | And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa. |
