| 1 | ¶ Na taim Reaboam i kam long Jerusalem, em i bungim bilong hauslain bilong Juda na Benjamin 180,000 man ol i makim, husat i strongpela man bilong bikpela pait, bilong pait birua long Isrel, inap long em i ken bringim kingdom gen long Reaboam. | And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam. |

And they obeyed the words of the Lord, and returned from going against Jeroboam. |

Long wanem, Jeroboam na ol pikinini man bilong em i bin rausim ol long mekim wok bilong wok bilong pris i go long BIKPELA. | For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the Lord: |

| 16 | Na bihain long ol, ausait long olgeta lain bilong Isrel, ol kain man husat i putim ol bel bilong ol bilong painim God BIKPELA bilong Isrel i kam long Jerusalem, bilong sakrifais i go long God BIKPELA bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong ol. | And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the Lord God of their fathers. |
