| 3 | Na yupela tok strong long ol, i spik, Yupela kisim hia ausait long namel bilong Jordan, ausait long ples we ol lek bilong ol pris i sanap strong, twelpela ston. Na yupela bai karim ol hapsait wantaim yupela, na lusim ol long dispela ples bilong stap, we yupela bai slip long tude nait. | And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night. |

| 5 | Na Josua i tokim ol, Go hapsait paslain long bokis kontrak bilong BIKPELA, God bilong yupela, i go insait long namel bilong Jordan, na yupela kisim i go antap, olgeta wan wan man, wanpela ston antap long sol bilong han bilong em, bilong bihainim namba bilong ol lain bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, | And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: |

Na ol dispela ston bai stap bilong wanpela samting bilong holim tingting i go long ol pikinini bilong Isrel oltaim oltaim. | Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever. |

Na ol i stap long dispela hap inap long tude. | And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day. |

Na ol manmeri i hariap na go hapsait. | For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the Lord commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over. |

| 12 | Na ol pikinini bilong Ruben, na ol pikinini bilong Gat, na hap lain bilong Manasa, i go hapsait wantaim ol samting bilong pait long ai bilong ol pikinini bilong Isrel, olsem Moses i tokim ol. | And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them: |
| 13 | Klostu olsem 40,000 i redi long bikpela pait i go hapsait long ai bilong BIKPELA i go long pait, long ol ples stret bilong Jeriko. | About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the Lord unto battle, to the plains of Jericho. |
| 14 | Long dispela de BIKPELA i litimapim nem bilong Josua long ai bilong olgeta Isrel. Na ol i pretim em, olsem ol i pretim Moses, olgeta de bilong laip bilong em. | On that day the Lord magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life. |
| 15 | Na BIKPELA i tokim Josua, i spik, | And the Lord spake unto Joshua, saying, |
| 16 | Tok strong long ol pris husat i karim bokis kontrak bilong testimoni, long ol i mas lusim Jordan i kam antap. | Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan. |
| 17 | Olsem na Josua i tok strong long ol pris, i spik, Yupela i kam antap ausait long Jordan. | Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan. |
| 18 | Na em i kamap olsem, taim ol pris husat i karim bokis bilong kontrak bilong BIKPELA i kam antap pinis ausait long namel bilong Jordan, na ol as bilong ol lek bilong ol pris i go antap long graun i drai, long ol wara bilong Jordan i go bek long ples bilong ol, na ran kalapim olgeta arere bilong en, olsem ol i mekim bipo. | And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before. |

| 21 | Na Em i tokim ol pikinini bilong Isrel, i spik, Taim ol tumbuna pikinini bilong yupela bai askim ol papa bilong ol long taim bihain, i spik, Wanem mining bilong ol dispela ston? | And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones? |
| 22 | Orait yupela bai larim ol pikinini bilong yupela i save, i spik, Isrel i kam hapsait long dispela Jordan long graun i drai. | Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. |
| 23 | Long wanem, BIKPELA, God bilong yupela, i mekim ol wara bilong Jordan i kamap drai i lusim ai bilong yupela, inap long yupela i brukim wara pinis, olsem BIKPELA, God bilong yupela, i mekim long Retsi, dispela Em i mekim i kamap drai i lusim ai bilong yumi, inap long yumi i go hapsait, | For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: |
