Na king i tok orait long em long olgeta askim bilong em, bilong bihainim han bilong BIKPELA, God bilong em, antap long em. | This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him. |

| 11 | ¶ Nau dispela em i kopi bilong dispela pas king Artaserksis i givim i go long pris Esra, man bilong rait, yes, wanpela man bilong rait bilong ol toktok bilong ol tok strong bilong BIKPELA, na ol lo bilong Em Em i raitim long Isrel. | Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the Lord, and of his statutes to Israel. |

| 18 | Na wanem samting bai luk olsem i gutpela long ai bilong yu, na long ol brata bilong yu, bilong mekim wantaim olgeta arapela bilong dispela silva na gol, mekim dispela i bihainim laik bilong God bilong yu. | And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God. |
| 19 | Ol dispela sospen samting tu ol i givim yu bilong wok bilong haus bilong God bilong yu, ol dispela yu givim long ai bilong God bilong Jerusalem. | The vessels also that are given thee for the service of the house of thy God, those deliver thou before the God of Jerusalem. |
| 20 | Na wanem samting moa bai i gat nid long en long haus bilong God bilong yu, dispela yu bai gat sans bilong givim, givim dispela i kam ausait long haus bilong samting i dia tru bilong king. | And whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king’s treasure house. |
| 21 | Na mi, yes, mi king Artaserksis, wokim tru wanpela strongpela tokaut i go long olgeta dispela wasman bilong samting i dia tru i stap hapsait long riva, long wanem samting pris Esra, man bilong rait bilong lo bilong God bilong heven, bai strong long askim long yupela, yupela i ken mekim dispela hariap, | And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily, |
| 22 | I go inap long 100 talen silva, na i go inap long 100 hap skel bilong wit, na i go inap long 100 bat wain, na i go inap long 100 bat wel, na sol i no gat mak bilong hamas. | Unto an hundred talents of silver, and to an hundred measures of wheat, and to an hundred baths of wine, and to an hundred baths of oil, and salt without prescribing how much. |

Long wanem, bilong wanem i ken i gat belhat tru i birua long kingdom bilong king na ol pikinini man bilong em? | Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? |
| 24 | Na tu mipela strongim tok long yu, long sait bilong wanpela bilong ol pris na ol lain Livai, ol lain bilong singim song, ol wasman bilong dua, ol wokboi bilong tempel, o ol man bilong wokim wok long haus bilong God, em bai tambu long lo bilong makim takis bilong kisim helpim, takis mani, o kastam mani, antap long ol. | Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them. |
| 25 | Na yu, Esra, long bihainim save tru bilong God bilong yu, dispela i stap long han bilong yu, putim ol kiap na ol jas, husat i ken jasim olgeta manmeri husat i stap hapsait long riva, olgeta kain lain husat i save long ol lo bilong God bilong yu. Na yupela skulim ol husat i no save long ol. | And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not. |
| 26 | Na husat man i no gat laik long bihainim lo bilong God bilong yu, na lo bilong king, larim ol i mekim kot hariap antap long em, sapos em i bilong dai, o bilong rausim em long ples, o bilong kisim ol kago bilong em, o bilong go long kalabus. | And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment. |
| 27 | ¶ Blesing i stap long God BIKPELA bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong mipela, husat i bin putim kain samting olsem dispela insait long bel bilong king, bilong mekim haus bilong BIKPELA, dispela i stap long Jerusalem, i kamap naispela tru. | Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem: |

Na mi kisim strong olsem han bilong BIKPELA, God bilong mi, i stap antap long mi, na mi bungim wantaim ausait long Isrel ol nambawan man bilong go antap wantaim mi. | And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me. |
