| 2 | Pikinini man bilong man, bikos Tairas i bin tok birua long Jerusalem, Aha, em i bruk pinis, husat i dua bilong banis bilong ol manmeri. Em i tanim i kam long mi. Mi bai pulap gen, nau ol i mekim em stap pipia, | Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste: |
| 3 | Olsem na, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi stap birua bilong yu, O Tairas, na Mi bai mekim planti kantri long kam antap bilong birua long yu, olsem biksi i mekim ol sibruk bilong em long kam antap. | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up. |

Mi tu bai skirapim das bilong em tu i lusim em, na mekim em kamap olsem dispela antap bilong wanpela ston. | And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock. |

Na em bai kamap wanpela kago bilong pait long ol kantri. | It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. |
| 6 | Na ol pikinini meri bilong em husat i stap long ples kunai bai ol i kilim i dai long bainat. Na ol bai save long Mi stap Bikpela. | And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 7 | Long wanem, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Lukim, Mi bai bringim antap long Tairas Nebukadresar, king bilong Babilon, wanpela king bilong ol king, i kam long hap not, wantaim ol hos, na wantaim ol karis, na wantaim ol man i ran long hos, na ol lain ami, na planti manmeri. | For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. |

Na em bai wokim wanpela haus soldia i birua long yu, na hipim wanpela liklik maunten i birua long yu, na litimapim plang bilong han i birua long yu. | He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee. |
| 9 | Na em bai putim ol ensin bilong bikpela pait i birua long ol banis bilong yu, na wantaim ol akis bilong em em bai brukim daun ol taua bilong yu. | And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers. |
| 10 | Bikos ol hos bilong em i planti moa yet, das bilong ol bai karamapim yu. Ol banis bilong yu bai seksek long nois bilong ol man i ran long hos, na long ol wil, na long ol karis, taim em bai go insait long ol dua bilong banis bilong yu, olsem ol man i go insait long wanpela biktaun we banis i bruk long en. | By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach. |

Em bai kilim i dai lain manmeri bilong yu long bainat, na ol strongpela haus pait bilong yu bai go daun long graun. | With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground. |
| 12 | Na ol bai mekim ol planti mani samting bilong yu long kamap wanpela kago bilong pait, na ol kago bilong yu long kamap wanpela prais bilong pait. Na ol bai brukim ol banis bilong yu i go daun, na bagarapim olgeta ol gutpela haus bilong yu. Na ol bai slipim ol ston bilong yu na ol plang bilong yu na das bilong yu insait long namel bilong wara. | And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water. |
| 13 | Na Mi bai mekim nois bilong ol song bilong yu long pinis. Na ol man bai i no inap harim moa nois bilong ol harp bilong yu. | And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard. |
| 14 | Na Mi bai mekim yu olsem dispela antap bilong wanpela ston. Yu bai stap wanpela ples bilong opim ol umben antap long en. Ol i no inap wokim yu moa. Long wanem, Mi BIKPELA i bin toktok long en, GOD Bikpela i tok. | And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the Lord have spoken it, saith the Lord God. |
| 15 | ¶ GOD Bikpela i tok olsem long Tairas, Ating i yes long ol ailan bai seksek long nois bilong pundaun bilong yu, taim ol dispela man i kisim bagarap i singaut, taim ol i wokim bikpela kilim i dai insait long namel bilong yu? | Thus saith the Lord God to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee? |
| 16 | Nau olgeta hetman bilong biksi bai lusim ol sia king bilong ol i kam daun, na slipim i go ol longpela saket bilong ol, na rausim ol klos bilong ol i gat naispela bilas. Ol bai putim guria long ol yet olsem klos. Ol bai sindaun antap long graun, na ol bai guria long olgeta wan wan liklik hap taim, na kirap nogut long yu. | Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee. |
| 17 | Na ol bai kirapim wanpela krai sori long yu, na tokim yu, Olsem wanem yu stap bagarap olgeta, husat i bin gat ol man bilong ran long biksi i stap long yu, biktaun i gat namba, husat i bin strong long biksi, em na ol lain i stap insait long em, husat i mekim pret nogut tru bilong ol i stap antap long olgeta husat i raun insait long em! | And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it! |
| 18 | Nau bai ol ailan i guria long de bilong pundaun bilong yu. Yes, ol dispela ailan i stap long biksi bai pilim wari long pinis bilong yu. | Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure. |
| 19 | Long wanem, GOD Bikpela i tok olsem, Taim Mi bai mekim yu wanpela biktaun i stap nating olgeta, olsem ol biktaun husat i no gat man i stap long ol, taim Mi bai bringim ples dip i kam antap long yu, na ol bikpela wara bai karamapim yu, | For thus saith the Lord God; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; |
| 20 | Taim Mi bai bringim yu i go daun wantaim ol husat i go daun insait long dispela bikpela hul, wantaim lain manmeri bilong taim bipo, na taim Mi bai putim yu insait long ol hap daunbilo bilong dispela graun, long ol ples i stap nating olgeta bilong bipo, wantaim ol husat i go daun long dispela bikpela hul, inap long i no gat man i stap long yu. Na Mi bai putim glori long hap bilong ol man i stap laip, | When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living; |
| 21 | Mi bai mekim yu wanpela samting bilong pret nogut tru, na yu bai i no inap stap moa. Maski ol i painim yu, yet ol bai i no inap olgeta long lukim yu gen, GOD Bikpela i tok. | I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord God. |
