| 2 | Long dispela taim ol lapun hetman bilong yu na ol jas bilong yu bai kam long dispela ples na ol bai mitaim graun i stap namel long ol biktaun i stap nabaut long dispela daiman. | Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: |
| 3 | Na em bai stap olsem, biktaun i stap klostu moa long dispela daiman, em ol lapun hetman bilong dispela biktaun, ol bai kisim wanpela yangpela bulmakau meri, em wanpela i no bin mekim wok pastaim na em i no bin pulim karis long dispela samting i pasim nek bilong em. | And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; |

Na ol bai katim na rausim nek bilong dispela yangpela bulmakau meri long dispela ples i long dispela ples daun. | And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley: |

Na long tok bilong ol, ol bai skelim olgeta hevi na olgeta pasin bilong paitim narapela. | And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the Lord thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the Lord; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried: |

| 7 | Na ol bai bekim tok na tok, Ol han bilong mipela i no bin kapsaitim dispela blut na tu ol ai bilong mipela i no bin lukim dispela. | And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it. |
| 8 | Sori long ol manmeri bilong Yu Isrel, O BIKPELA, husat Yu bin baim bek, na no ken makim blut i no bin mekim rong i go long asua bilong ol manmeri bilong Yu i bilong Isrel. Na BIKPELA bai pogivim ol long dispela blut. | Be merciful, O Lord, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. |
| 9 | Na Yu bai rausim asua bilong blut i no bin mekim rong long namel long yupela taim yu bai mekim ol samting i stretpela long ai bilong BIKPELA. | So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord. |
| 10 | ¶ Taim yu go long mekim woa wantaim ol birua bilong yu na God BIKPELA bilong yu i bin givim ol i go long ol han bilong yu na yu bin kalabusim ol, | When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the Lord thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, |
| 11 | Na yu lukim wanpela naispela meri i stap namel long dispela kalabus lain. Na yu gat laik long em, bai yu ken kisim em long i stap meri bilong yu. | And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; |
| 12 | Long dispela taim yu mas bringim em long ples long haus bilong yu. Na em i mas katim olgeta hetgras bilong em na katim ol nil bilong ol pinga bilong em. | Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; |
| 13 | Na em i mas putim ol klos bilong taim em i stap kalabus long lusim em na em i mas i stap long haus bilong yu na krai sori long papa bilong em na mama bilong em wanpela mun olgeta. Na bihain long dispela yu bai go long em na stap man bilong em na em bai i stap meri bilong yu. | And she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thine house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife. |

Yu no ken mekim em kamap samting yu baim na salim, na as bilong dispela em yu bin daunim em. | And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled her. |

Na sapos namba wan pikinini man em i pikinini bilong meri em i no laikim tru, | If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: |
| 16 | Orait em bai stap olsem, taim dispela man i givim ol samting bilong em long ol pikinini man bilong em, em in no ken mekim pikinini man bilong meri em i laikim tumas i kisim hap bilong namba wan pikinini man na kisim namba bilong pikinini man bilong meri em i no laikim tru, na tru tumas em i namba wan pikinini man bilong em. | Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: |

Long wanem em i stat bilong strong bilong dispela papa na namba bilong i stap namba wan pikinini i bilong em. | But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his. |
| 18 | ¶ Sapos wanpela man i gat pikinini man i bikhet na em i no harim tok na em i no bihainim nek bilong papa bilong em o nek bilong mama bilong em na taim ol i stretim em, em i no laik harim tok bilong ol, | If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: |
| 19 | Long dispela taim papa bilong em na mama bilong em bai pasim em na bringim em i kam long ol lapun hetman bilong biktaun bilong em na long dua bilong banis bilong ples bilong em. | Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; |
| 20 | Na tupela bai tok long ol lapun hetman bilong biktaun bilong em olsem, Dispela pikinini man bilong mipela em i bikhet na em i no harim tok na em i no laik bihainim nek bilong mipela. Na tu em i kaikai planti tumas na em i spakman. | And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. |

Na olgeta Isrel bai harim na pret. | And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. |
| 22 | Na sapos wanpela man i bin mekim sin inap long em i mas i dai pinis, na em i stap bilong yu kilim em i dai, na yu hangamapim em long wanpela diwai, | And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: |
| 23 | Bodi bilong em i no ken i stap olgeta nait long dispela diwai. Tasol yu mas planim em dispela de. (Long wanem man ol i hangamapim, em i stap aninit long kot bilong God.) Na nogut graun bilong yu i kamap doti. Em graun God BIKPELA bilong yu i givim yu long i stap samting papa i givim long ol pikinini. | His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. |
