Yu mas givim lait. | Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth. |
| 2 | Long pes bilong Ifraim na Benjamin na Manasa, Yu mas kirapim strong bilong Yu, na Yu mas kam na kisim bek mipela. | Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us. |
| 3 | O God, Yu mas tanim mipela gen, na Yu mas mekim pes bilong Yu i lait. Na bai Yu kisim bek mipela. | Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. |

| 6 | Yu mekim mipela i kamap tok pait long ol man i stap klostu long mipela. Na ol birua bilong mipela i lap namel long ol yet. | Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves. |
| 7 | O God bilong ol ami, Yu mas tanim mipela gen, na Yu mas mekim pes bilong Yu i lait. Na bai Yu kisim bek mipela. | Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. |
| 8 | ¶ Yu bin bringim wanpela diwai wain i lusim Isip i kam. Yu bin rausim ol haiden, na Yu bin planim dispela. | Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it. |
| 9 | Yu bin redim spes long pes bilong en, na Yu bin mekim ol rop bilong en i go daunbilo tru. Na em i bin pulapim dispela hap graun. | Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land. |
| 10 | Tewel bilong san bilong em i bin karamapim ol liklik maunten. Na ol han bilong en i olsem ol strongpela diwai sida. | The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars. |
| 11 | Em i bin salim ol han bilong en i go inap long solwara. Na ol han bilong en i go inap long bikwara. | She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river. |

| 13 | Pik bilong bus i bagarapim dispela. Na wel abus bilong ples kunai i kaikai dispela. | The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it. |
| 14 | O God bilong ol ami, mipela askim Yu long daun pasin, Yu mas kam bek. Yu stap na lukluk i kam daun long heven. Na Yu mas lukim na lukautim dispela diwai wain, | Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine; |
| 15 | Na gaden wain han sut bilong Yu i bin planim, na han bilong diwai Yu bin mekim i kamap strong na em i bilong Yu yet, | And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. |
| 16 | Ol i bin kukim em long paia, na ol i bin katim na rausim em. Taim pes bilong Yu i krosim ol, ol i lus. | It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. |
| 17 | Han bilong Yu i mas stap antap long man bilong han sut bilong Yu, antap long pikinini man bilong man. Bilong Yu yet, Yu bin mekim em i kamap strong. | Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. |
| 18 | Olsem na bai mipela i no lusim Yu na i go bek. Yu mas givim laip long mipela, na bai mipela i singaut long nem bilong Yu. | So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. |
