| 2 | Mi go daun insait long graun malumalu i daunbilo tru, long ples man i no inap sanap long en. Mi kam insait long ol wara i daunbilo tru, long ples ol wara tait i karamapim mi. | I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. |
| 3 | Mi les long krai bilong mi. Nek bilong mi i drai. Ai bilong mi i laik i dai, taim mi wetim God bilong mi. | I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. |

Orait mi bin bekim samting mi no bin tekewe. | They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. |

O God bilong Israel, ol man i wok long painim Yu ol i no ken paul t aim ol i tingting long nem bilong mi. | Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel. |

| 12 | Ol man i sindaun long dua bilong banis ol i tok long birua long mi. Na mi bin kamap song bilong ol man i spak. | They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. |
| 13 | ¶ Tasol O BIKPELA, mi tok long mi yet, prea bilong mi i go long Yu long taim Yu orait long en. O God, long ol planti tru bilong sori bilong Yu, harim mi, long tok tru bilong kisim bek bilong Yu. | But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O Lord, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation. |

Yu mas larim wanpela i tekewe mi long ol man i no laikim tru mi, na tekewe mi long ol wara i daunbilo tru. | Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters. |

Tanim i kam long mi bilong bihainim ol sori bilong Yu i isi moa i planti tru. | Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. |

Na mi bin wok long painim ol man bilong givim bel isi, tasol mi no lukim wanpela. | Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. |
| 21 | Ol i bin givim mi marasin nogut olsem kaikai bilong mi tu. Na taim nek bilong mi i drai, ol i bin givim vinega long mi bilong dring. | They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. |

Na samting inap i bin stap samting bilong helpim ol, Larim dispela i kamap wanpela samting bilong pasim ol. | Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. |
| 23 | Ol ai bilong ol i ken kamap tudak, bai ol i no ken lukluk. Na Yu mas mekim ol bel bilong ol i guria oltaim. | Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake. |
| 24 | Yu mas kapsaitim bel nogut bilong Yu antap long ol. Na larim belhat tru bilong Yu i ken holimpas ol. | Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them. |
| 25 | Haus bilong ol i ken stap nating. Na Yu no ken larim wanpela man i stap long ol haus sel bilong ol. | Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. |
| 26 | Long wanem ol i givim hevi long man Yu bin paitim. Na ol i mekim toktok bilong givim hevi long ol man Yu bin givim sua long ol. | For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. |
| 27 | Yu mas skruim sin nogut i go long sin nogut bilong ol. Na Yu no ken larim ol i kam insait long stretpela pasin bilong Yu. | Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. |
| 28 | Yu mas rausim nem bilong ol long buk bilong ol man i stap laip, na Yu no ken raitim nem bilong ol wantaim nem bilong ol stretpela man. | Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. |
| 29 | Tasol mi stap rabisman na mi bel hevi. O God, larim kisim bek bilong Yu i ken putim mi long ples antap. | But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high. |
| 30 | ¶ Bai mi litimapim nem bilong God long wanpela song. Na bai mi tok tenkyu na mekim nem bilong Em i kamap bikpela moa. | I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. |
| 31 | Dispela tu bai i amamasim BIKPELA gutpela moa long bulmakau man o yangpela bulmakau man i gat ol kom na ol kapa bilong pinga. | This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. |
| 32 | Ol man i save daunim em yet bai i lukim dispela, na stap belgut. Na bel bilong yupela man i painim God, bai em i stap laip. | The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God. |
| 33 | Long wanem BIKPELA i save harim ol rabisman. Na Em i no tingim ol kalabusman bilong Em i samting nating. | For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners. |
| 34 | Larim heven na graun na ol solwara na olgeta samting i save raun long en ol i ken litimapim nem bilong Em. | Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein. |
| 35 | Long wanem God bai kisim bek Saion na wokim ol biktaun bilong Juda. Bai ol i ken stap long en na holimpas long em. | For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession. |
| 36 | Ol tumbuna pikinini bilong ol wokman bilong Em bai kisim dispela long papa. Na ol husat i laikim tru nem bilong Em bai stap insait long en. | The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein. |
