| 6 | We Mi no bin stap olsem insait long wanpela haus i stat long taim Mi bringim ol pikinini bilong Isrel antap ausait long Isip, yes, inap long tude, tasol Mi bin wokabaut insait long wanpela haus sel na wanpela haus sel holi. | Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle. |

Also the Lord telleth thee that he will make thee an house. |
| 12 | Na taim ol de bilong yu i inap pinis, na yu bai slip wantaim ol tumbuna papa bilong yu, Mi bai sanapim tumbuna pikinini bilong yu bihain long yu, husat bai kam ausait long ol rop bilong bel bilong yu, na Mi bai strongim kingdom bilong em. | And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. |
| 13 | Em bai wokim wanpela haus bilong nem bilong Mi, na Mi bai strongim sia king bilong kingdom bilong em oltaim oltaim. | He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. |

Sapos em i mekim wanpela sin nogut, Mi bai stikim em wantaim stik bilong ol man, na wantaim ol mak bilong wip bilong ol pikinini bilong man. | I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: |

| 17 | Bilong bihainim olgeta dispela toktok, na bilong bihainim olgeta dispela driman samting, olsem tasol Netan i bin toktok long Devit. | According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David. |
| 18 | ¶ Nau king Devit i go insait, na sindaun long ai bilong BIKPELA, na em i tok, Mi husat, O GOD Bikpela? Na hauslain bilong mi em i wanem samting, inap long Yu bin bringim mi i kam inap long hia? | Then went king David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? |

Na dispela em i pasin bilong man, O GOD Bikpela? | And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord God; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord God? |
| 20 | Na Devit i ken tok wanem moa long Yu? Long wanem, Yu, GOD Bikpela, save long wokboi bilong Yu. | And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord God, knowest thy servant. |
| 21 | Bilong tingim toktok bilong Yu, na bilong bihainim bel bilong Yu Yet, Yu bin mekim olgeta dispela bikpela samting, long mekim wokboi bilong Yu save long ol. | For thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. |

Long wanem, i no gat wanpela i olsem Yu, na tu i no gat arapela God i stap, Yu tasol, bilong bihainim olgeta samting mipela i bin harim long ol ia bilong mipela. | Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. |
| 23 | Na wanem wanpela kantri long dispela graun i olsem ol manmeri bilong Yu, yes, olsem Isrel, husat God i go long baim bek long stap wanpela lain bilong Em Yet, na long mekim Em wanpela biknem, na long mekim long Yu ol bikpela samting na ol samting bilong pretim nogut tru, bilong helpim dispela hap bilong Yu, long ai bilong ol lain bilong Yu, husat Yu baim bek long Isip i kam long Yu, long ol kantri na ol god bilong ol? | And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? |

| 25 | Na nau, O God BIKPELA, dispela toktok Yu bin toktok long sait bilong wokboi bilong yu, na long sait bilong hauslain bilong em, strongim dispela oltaim oltaim, na mekim olsem Yu bin toktok. | And now, O Lord God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said. |

Na larim hauslain bilong wokboi bilong Yu Devit i stap strong long ai bilong Yu. | And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee. |

Olsem na wokboi bilong Yu i bin painim pinis insait long bel bilong em long beten dispela prea i go long Yu. | For thou, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. |
| 28 | Na nau, O GOD Bikpela, Yu dispela God, na ol toktok bilong Yu i tru, na Yu bin wokim promis long dispela gutpela samting i go long wokboi bilong Yu. | And now, O Lord God, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: |

Na wantaim blesing bilong Yu, larim hauslain bilong wokboi bilong Yu i gat blesing oltaim oltaim. | Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever. |
