| 2 | Nau dispela twelpela i singautim bikpela lain tru bilong ol disaipel i kam long ol, na tok, Em i no gutpela tingting long mipela i mas lusim tok bilong God, na wokim wok long ol tebol. | Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. |

| 9 | Nau sampela i kirap bilong sinagog, dispela ol i kolim sinagog bilong ol Friman, na ol man Sairini, na ol man Aleksandria, na bilong ol bilong Silisia na bilong Esia, i tok pait wantaim Stiven. | Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. |

| 12 | Na ol i kirapim ol manmeri, na ol lapun hetman, na ol man bilong rait, na ol i kam long em, na holimpas em, na bringim em long kaunsil, | And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, |
| 13 | Na sanapim ol giaman witnes, husat i tok, Dispela man i no lusim pasin bilong toktok long ol tok bilas i birua long dispela ples holi, na long lo. | And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law: |
| 14 | Long wanem, mipela i bin harim em tok, long dispela Jisas bilong Nasaret bai bagarapim dispela ples olgeta, na em bai senisim ol dispela kastam Moses i givim long yumi. | For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. |
