Na olgeta bilong ol i pulap wantaim Holi Spirit, na ol i stat long toktok wantaim ol arapela tok ples, olsem Spirit i givim pasin bilong toktok long ol. | And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
¶ Na i gat i stap long Jerusalem ol Ju, ol man i strong long bihainim lotu, i kam ausait long olgeta wan wan kantri aninit long heven. | And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Nau taim dispela stori i go ausait, bikpela lain tru i kam bung wantaim, na ol i paul tru, bikos olgeta wan wan man i harim ol toktok long tok ples bilong em yet. | Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
Na ol olgeta i kirap nogut tru na tingting planti, i spik wanpela i go long narapela, Lukim, ating i yes long olgeta dispela husat i toktok i ol lain Galili? | And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?
Na yumi olgeta wan wan man i harim ol long tok ples we mama i karim yumi long en olsem wanem? | And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Yumi ol lain Patia, na Mida, na Ilam, na ol man bilong stap long Mesopotemia, na long Judia, na Kapadosia, long Pontas, na Esia, | Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
Frijia, na Pamfilia, long Isip, na long ol hap bilong Libia nabaut long Sairini, na ol ausait man bilong Rom, ol Ju na man i bihainim lotu bilong ol Ju, | Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
Ol Krit na ol Arebia, yumi harim ol i toktok long ol tok ples bilong yumi ol wok bilong God bilong winim tingting. | Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Na ol olgeta i kirap nogut tru, na ol i gat tupela tingting, na ol i spik wanpela i go long narapela, Wanem mining bilong dispela? | And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Ol arapela i wokim pani bilong daunim ol na tok, Ol dispela man i pulap long nupela wain. | Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
¶ Tasol Pita, taim em i sanap wantaim dispela elevenpela, i litimapim nek bilong em, na tokim ol, Yupela ol man bilong Judia, na olgeta yupela husat i stap long Jerusalem, yupela i mas save long dispela, na harim ol toktok bilong mi. | But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Long wanem, ol dispela man i no spak, olsem yupela i gat tingting, taim yumi luksave long em i namba tri aua long de tasol. | For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
Tasol dispela em i dispela samting i kam long toktok bilong profet Joel, | But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Na em bai kamap olsem long ol las de, God i tok, Mi bai kapsaitim bilong Spirit bilong mi antap long olgeta man. Na ol pikinini man bilong yupela na ol pikinini meri bilong yupela bai autim tok profet, na ol yangpela man bilong yupela bai lukim ol driman samting, na ol lapun man bilong yupela bai driman long ol driman. | And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Na antap long ol wokboi bilong mi na antap long ol wokmeri bilong mi bai mi kapsaitim Spirit bilong mi long ol dispela de. Na ol bai autim tok profet. | And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Na mi bai soim ol samting bilong winim tingting long heven antap, na ol mak long graun daunbilo, blut, na paia, na smuk wara bilong smuk. | And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
San bai senis i kamap tudak, na mun long blut, bipo long dispela de bilong Bikpela i bikpela na i narakain i kamap. | The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Na em bai kamap olsem, long husat man bai singaut long nem bilong Bikpela, God bai kisim bek em. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Yupela ol man bilong Isrel, harim ol dispela toktok. Jisas bilong Nasaret, man God i soim orait long em namel long yupela long ol mirakel na ol samting bilong winim tingting na ol mak, dispela God i mekim long han bilong em long namel long yupela, olsem yupela yupela yet i save tu, | Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Em, taim God i save pastaim na givim em taim em i pasim tok long em yet na givim tok helpim, yupela i bin kisim, na wantaim ol han nogut yupela i bin nilim em long diwai kros na kilim em i dai. | Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Husat God i bin kirapim, taim em i lusim ol pen bilong dai. Bilong wanem, i no gat rot olgeta long dispela i ken holim em. | Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Long wanem, Devit i toktok long sait bilong em, Mi lukim bipo Bikpela, olgeta taim, long ai bilong pes bilong mi, long wanem, em i stap long han sut bilong mi, inap long mi no ken muv. | For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
Olsem na bel bilong mi i bin wokim amamas tru, na tang bilong mi i amamas. Na moa tu bodi bilong mi bai malolo insait long hop. | Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
Bilong wanem, yu no inap lusim tewel bilong mi long hel, na tu yu no inap larim Man Holi bilong yu sting long matmat. | Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Yu bin mekim mi long save long ol rot bilong laip. Yu bai mekim mi pulap long amamas tru wantaim pes bilong yu. | Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Ol man na ol brata, larim mi toktok long yupela na i no gat samting i pasim, long dispela nambawan tumbuna papa Devit, long em i dai pinis na ol i planim em wantaim, na matmat bilong em i stap wantaim yumi inap long tude. | Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Olsem na taim em i wanpela profet, na taim em i save long God i bin wokim strongpela promis long em wantaim promis antap, long kaikai bilong ol namel bilong bel bilong em, bilong bihainim sait bilong bodi, em bai kirapim Kraist long sindaun long sia king bilong em, | Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
Taim em i lukim dispela bipo em i toktok long kirap bek bilong Kraist, long God i no lusim tewel bilong em long hel, na tu bodi bilong em i no bin sting long matmat. | He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Dispela Jisas God i bin kirapim, we yumi olgeta i stap ol witnes long en. | This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Olsem na taim God i litimapim em na em i stap long han sut bilong God, na taim em i kisim long Papa promis bilong Holi Spirit, em i bin kapsaitim dispela Spirit i kam, dispela yupela i lukim nau na harim. | Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Long wanem, Devit i no go antap long ol heven. Tasol em i tok em yet, BIKPELA i tok long Bikpela bilong mi, Yu sindaun long han sut bilong mi, | For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
I go inap long mi mekim ol birua bilong yu long kamap liklik sia bilong putim lek bilong yu. | Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
Olsem na larim olgeta bilong hauslain bilong Isrel save tru tumas, long God i bin mekim dispela Jisas stret, husat yupela i bin nilim long diwai kros, Bikpela na Kraist wantaim. | Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
¶ Nau taim ol bin harim dispela, sap bilong tok i sutim bel bilong ol, na ol i tokim Pita na ol arapela aposel, Ol man na ol brata, mipela bai mekim wanem? | Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Nau Pita i tokim ol, Tanim bel, na kisim baptais, olgeta wan wan bilong yupela, long nem bilong Jisas Kraist bilong lusim ol sin, na yupela bai kisim presen bilong Holi Spirit. | Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Long wanem, dispela promis i go long yupela, na long ol pikinini bilong yupela, na long olgeta husat i stap longwe tru, yes, hamas man Bikpela, God bilong yumi, bai singautim. | For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Na wantaim planti arapela toktok em i bin tokaut klia na strongim bel bilong ol, i spik, Kisim bek yupela yet long dispela lain tumbuna i paul. | And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Nau ol husat i amamas long kisim tok bilong em i kisim baptais. Na long dispela de stret God i skruim long namba bilong ol klostu olsem 3,000 tewel. | Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
¶ Na ol i stap strong yet insait long skul na pasin poroman bilong ol aposel, na long taim ol i brukim bret, na long ol prea. | And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Na pret i kam antap long olgeta wan wan tewel. Na ol aposel i wokim planti samting bilong winim tingting na ol mak. | And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Na olgeta husat i bilip i stap wantaim, na olgeta samting ol i gat i bilong olgeta yet. | And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Na ol i salim ol samting ol i holimpas na ol kago bilong ol long mani, na brukim ol long olgeta man, olsem olgeta wan wan man i gat nid. | And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Na ol, taim ol i stap yet olgeta wan wan de wantaim wanpela bel long tempel, na taim ol i brukim bret long haus i go long haus, i bin kaikai ol kaikai bilong ol wantaim amamas na bel i gat wanpela tingting, | And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Taim ol i litimapim nem bilong God, na taim ol i gat gutpela amamas wantaim olgeta manmeri. Na Bikpela i skruim long namba bilong sios, olgeta wan wan de, kain man olsem em i laik kisim bek. | Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
