| 1 | ¶ Taim moningtaim i kam pinis, olgeta bikpris na ol lapun hetman bilong ol manmeri i kisim tok helpim i birua long Jisas long mekim em long dai. | When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: |
| 2 | Na taim ol i bin pasim em, ol i bringim em i go, na givim em long nambawan gavman Pontias Pailat. | And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor. |
| 3 | Nau Judas, husat i bin putim em long han bilong birua, taim em i luksave long em i lus long kot, i tanim bel em yet, na bringim gen dispela 30 hap silva long ol bikpris na ol lapun hetman, | Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, |
| 4 | I spik, Mi bin mekim sin long dispela, mi bin putim blut i no bin mekim rong long han bilong birua. Na ol i tok, Dispela em i wanem samting long mipela? | 5 | Na em i tromoi ol hap silva i go daun insait long tempel, na lusim dispela hap, na em i go na hangamapim em yet. | And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. |
| 6 | Na ol bikpris i kisim ol hap silva, na tok, Em i no orait long lo long putim ol insait long bakstua bilong samting i dia tru, bilong wanem, em i pe bilong blut. | And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. |
| 7 | Na ol i kisim tok helpim, na ol i baim dispela hap graun bilong man bilong wokim sospen graun wantaim ol, long planim ol ausait man long en. | And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. |
| 8 | Olsem na dispela hap graun ol i kolim, Hap graun bilong blut, i go inap long tude. | Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. |

| 12 | Na taim ol bikpris na ol lapun hetman i sutim tok long em, em i no bekim wanpela samting. | And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. |
| 13 | Nau Pailat i tokim em, Ating i yes long yu harim hamas samting ol i witnes i birua long yu? | Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? |

Long wanem, mi bin karim hevi long planti samting tude long wanpela driman bilong tingim em. | When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. |

Yupela lukluk long en. | When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. |
| 25 | Nau olgeta manmeri i bekim na tok, Blut bilong em i stap antap long mipela, na antap long ol pikinini bilong mipela. | Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. |

Sapos em i stap King bilong Isrel, larim em kam daun nau long diwai kros, na mipela bai bilipim em. | He saved others; himself he cannot save.
