| 22 | Na ol i kirap nogut long skul bilong Em. Long wanem, Em i skulim ol olsem wanpela husat i gat namba bilong bosim, na i no olsem ol man bilong rait. | And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. |
| 23 | ¶ Na i gat long sinagog bilong ol wanpela man wantaim wanpela spirit i no klin. Na em i singaut, | And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, |
| 24 | I spik, Larim mipela i stap. Mipela i gat wanem wok wantaim Yu, Yu Jisas bilong Nasaret? Ating Yu kam bilong bagarapim mipela olgeta, a? Mi save long Yu long Yu stap husat, Man Holi bilong God. | Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. |

Long wanem, wantaim namba bilong bosim Em i tok strong, yes, long ol spirit i no klin, na ol i bihainim tok bilong Em. | And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. |
