| 7 | Na tu, bikos ol i bilong tumbuna pikinini bilong Ebraham, ol olgeta i no ol pikinini. Tasol, Insait long Aisak bai mi singautim tumbuna pikinini bilong yu. | Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. |

Tasol ol pikinini bilong promis em i kaunim long tumbuna pikinini. | That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. |

| 16 | Olsem nau em i no bilong em husat i gat laik, o long em husat i ran, tasol em i God husat i soim sori. | So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. |

| 21 | Ating i yes long man bilong wokim sospen graun i gat pawa long bosim dispela retpela graun, bilong wokim long dispela hap graun stret wanpela sospen graun i gat ona, na narapela i no gat ona? | Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? |
| 22 | Olsem wanem sapos God, taim em i gat laik long soim belhat tru bilong em, na long mekim ol man long save long pawa bilong em, i stap yet long hevi, wantaim planti pasin bilong karim pen longpela taim, long ol sospen samting bilong belhat tru em i wokim bilong bagarap olgeta, | What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: |

| 24 | Yes yumi, husat em i bin singautim, i no bilong ol Ju tasol, tasol tu bilong ol man i no Ju? | Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? |

Na em meri i stap klostu tru long bel bilong mi, husat i no bin stap klostu tru long bel bilong mi. | As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. |
| 26 | Na em bai kamap olsem, long dispela ples we em i tokim ol, Yupela i no lain manmeri bilong mi, long dispela hap bai em i kolim ol ol pikinini bilong God i stap laip. | And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. |

| 29 | Na olsem Eseas i tok bipo, Sapos Bikpela bilong Sabaot i no bin larim long yumi wanpela tumbuna pikinini, yumi i bin kamap wankain olsem Sodoma na Gomora. | And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. |

Long ol man i no Ju, husat i no bihainim stretpela pasin, i bin kisim pinis stretpela pasin, yes, dispela stretpela pasin i bilong bilip tru. | What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. |
| 31 | Tasol Isrel, husat i bihainim lo bilong stretpela pasin, i no bin kisim pinis lo bilong stretpela pasin. | But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. |

Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; |

Na husat man i bilip long em bai i no inap sem. | As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
