| 3 | Long wanem, yes, Kraist i no bin amamasim em yet. Tasol, olsem rait i stap pinis, Ol sem bilong ol husat i givim sem long yu i pundaun antap long mi. | For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. |

| 8 | Nau mi tok long Jisas Kraist i bin stap wokman bilong ol man bilong katim skin bilong soim tok tru bilong God, long strongim ol promis God i wokim long ol tumbuna papa. | Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: |

Long em ol man i no Ju bai putim bilip. | And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. |
| 13 | ¶ Nau God bilong hop i ken pulimapim yupela wantaim olgeta amamas tru na bel isi taim yupela i bilip, inap long yupela i ken pulap tru long hop, long wok bilong pawa bilong Holi Spirit. | Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. |

| 16 | Inap long mi ken stap wokman bilong Jisas Kraist long ol man i no Ju, taim mi wok long givim gutnius bilong God, inap long taim Kraist i ofaim ol man i no Ju i go antap, dispela i ken orait long ai bilong God, taim Holi Spirit i mekim ol i kamap holi. | That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. |

| 22 | ¶ Long dispela as tu rot bilong mi i bin pas planti long mi ken kam long yupela. | For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. |
| 23 | Tasol nau, taim mi no gat ples moa long ol dispela hap, na taim mi gat bikpela laik ol dispela planti yia long kam long yupela, | But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; |

Long wanem, mi gat bilip long mi bai lukim yupela long wokabaut bilong mi, na yupela i ken bringim mi long rot bilong mi i go long dispela hap, sapos pastaim mi pulap liklik wantaim poroman pasin bilong yupela. | Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. |

Long wanem, sapos ol man i no Ju i bin kamap lain bilong kisim hap bilong ol spirit sait samting, em i wok stret bilong ol tu long wokim wok long ol long ol samting bilong bodi sait. | It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. |

| 30 | ¶ Nau mi askim yupela strong plis, ol brata, bilong tingim Bikpela Jisas Kraist, na bilong laikim tru bilong Spirit, long yupela i ken pait strong wantaim wantaim mi insait long ol prea bilong yupela long God bilong helpim mi. | Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; |

Na long dispela wok mi gat bilong helpim Jerusalem i ken stap orait long ai bilong ol seint. | That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; |
