| 3 | Wanem samting i gat tupela hap kapa long fut bilong ol na ol i apim kaikai long bel bilong ol na kaikai dispela gen taim ol i malolo olsem bulmakau, namel long ol animal, yupela mas kaikai dispela. | Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. |

Wanem samting i gat pul long pis na grile bilong pis i stap long ol wara, em long solwara na long ol wara riva, yupela i ken kaikai ol dispela. | These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. |

Em bikpela tarangau igal na tarangau osifrej na tarangau bilong solwara ospre, | And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, |

| 17 | Na liklik tarangau bilong nait na pisin kormorant na bikpela tarangau bilong nait, | And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, |
| 18 | Na bikpela pisin swan na pisin pelikan na tarangau gia igal, | And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, |
| 19 | Na pisin stok na pisin heron i bihainim kain bilong em na pisin lapwing na blakbokis. | And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. |
| 20 | ¶ Olgeta pisin i wokabaut long ol lek na wing, ol i mas i stap samting i sting tru long tingting bilong yupela. | All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. |
| 21 | Tasol yupela i ken kaikai ol dispela bilong ol binatang samting i flai na wokabaut long fopela lek na ol i gat ol lek i stap antap long ol fut bilong ol long kalap long em long dispela graun. | Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; |
| 22 | Yes yupela i ken kaikai ol dispela bilong ol. Em grasop lokas i bihainim kain bilong em na lokas i kela i bihainim kain bilong em na wanpela binatang bilong kaikai lip bitel i bihainim kain bilong em na grasop tru i bihainim kain bilong em. | Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. |

| 25 | Na wanem man o meri i karim wanpela hap bilong bodi bilong ol i dai pinis, em i mas wasim klos bilong em na em i no stap klin inap long apinun tru. | And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even. |
| 26 | Ol bodi i dai pinis bilong olgeta animal i gat sampela hap long fut na i no gat tupela hap long fut na tu ol i no apim kaikai long bel bilong ol na kaikai dispela gen taim ol i malolo, ol i no klin long yupela. Olgeta wan wan i putim han o lek long ol, em i mas stap i no klin. | The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean. |

Em animal wisal na rat na trausel i bihainim kain bilong em, | These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind, |

Wanem man o meri i putim han long ol taim ol i dai pinis, em i mas i stap i no klin inap long apinun tru. | These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even. |
| 32 | Na wanem samting ol i pundaun long em taim ol i dai pinis, dispela mas i stap i no klin, maski em i stap wanpela samting bilong holim ol i wokim long diwai o klos o skin o bek, wanem samting bilong holim i stap na ol i mekim wok long ol, ol i mas putim dispela long wara na em mas i stap i no klin inap long apinun tru, olsem em bai stap klin gen. | And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed. |

| 38 | Tasol sapos ol i putim sampela wara long dispela pikinini kaikai na wanpela hap bilong bodi bilong ol i dai pinis i pundaun long em, dispela pikinini kaikai i no ken i stap klin long yupela. | But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you. |
| 39 | Na sapos wanpela animal bilong kain yupela i ken kaikai em, em i dai pinis, man i putim han long bodi bilong em, dispela man em i no klin inap long apinun tru. | And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even. |
| 40 | Na wanpela i kaikai sampela bilong mit bilong dispela bodi bilong abus, em i mas wasim klos bilong em na stap i no klin inap long apinun tru. Man tu i karim bodi bilong dispela, em i mas wasim klos bilong em na stap i no klin inap long apinun tru. | And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even. |
| 41 | Na olgeta arapela binatang samting i wokabaut long bel long dispela graun mas i stap samting sting tru long tingting bilong yupela. Yupela no ken kaikai dispela. | And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten. |

Long wanem ol i sting tru long tingting bilong yupela. | Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. |
| 43 | ¶ Yupela i no ken mekim yupela yet i sting tru long tingting bilong Mi long wanpela binatang samting i wokabaut, na tu yupela i no ken mekim yupela yet i no klin long ol, bai yupela i stap doti long dispela. | Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. |
