절King Jems Pisin BaibelKing James Version
¶ Na em i kamap olsem long mun Nisan, long namba 20 yia bilong king Artaserksis, long wain i stap long ai bilong em. Na mi kisim wain i go antap, na givim i go long king. Nau mi no bin soim hevi bipotaim long pes bilong em. And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
Olsem na king i tokim mi, Bilong wanem pes bilong yu i soim hevi, taim mi luksave olsem yu no i gat sik? Dispela em i no narapela samting, tasol em i bel hevi bilong bel. Nau mi pret nogut tru. Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
Na mi tokim king, Larim king i stap laip oltaim oltaim. Bilong wanem pes bilong mi i no ken soim hevi, taim dispela biktaun, ples bilong matmat bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong mi, i stap nating, na ol dua bilong banis bilong en i kuk olgeta wantaim paia? And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?
Nau king i tokim mi, Yu wokim askim long wanem samting? Olsem na mi beten long God bilong heven. Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
Na mi tokim king, Sapos em i amamasim bel bilong king, na sapos wokboi bilong yu i bin painim pinis gutpela amamas long ai bilong yu, long yu ken salim mi i go long Juda, i go long biktaun bilong matmat bilong ol tumbuna papa bilong mi, inap long mi ken wokim dispela. And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers’ sepulchres, that I may build it.
Na king i tokim mi, (kwin tu i sindaun klostu long em,) Wokabaut bilong yu bai go inap long wanem taim? Na wanem taim bai yu kam bek? Olsem na em i amamasim bel long king bilong salim mi. Na mi makim wanpela taim long em. And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.
Na moa tu mi tokim king, Sapos em i amamasim bel bilong king, larim ol i givim ol pas long mi long ol nambawan gavman long hapsait bilong riva, inap long ol i ken karim mi i go hapsait inap long mi kam insait long Juda. Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;
Na wanpela pas i ken go long Esap, wasman bilong bikbus bilong king, inap long em i ken givim mi diwai bilong wokim ol rigel bilong ol dua bilong banis bilong haus king, dispela i bilong haus, na bilong banis bilong biktaun, na bilong dispela haus mi bai go insait long en. Na king i givim mi, bilong bihainim gutpela han bilong God bilong mi antap long mi. And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
¶ Nau mi kam long ol nambawan gavman long hapsait long riva, na givim ol ol pas bilong king. Nau king i bin salim ol kepten bilong ami na ol man i ran long hos wantaim mi. Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
Taim man Horon Sanbalat, na wokboi Tobaia, man Amon, i harim long dispela, dispela i givim bel sori long ol planti moa yet long i gat wanpela man i kam bilong painim rot bilong helpim ol pikinini bilong Isrel. When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.
Olsem tasol mi kam long Jerusalem, na stap long dispela hap tripela de. So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.
Na mi kirap long nait, mi na sampela wan wan man wantaim mi. Na tu mi no tokim wanpela man long wanem samting God bilong mi i bin putim insait long bel bilong mi bilong mekim long Jerusalem. Na tu i no gat wanpela animal wantaim mi, animal mi ran antap long en tasol. And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.
Na mi go ausait long nait klostu long ples daun dua bilong banis, yes, long ai bilong hul wara dregon, na long dua pekpek. Na mi lukim ol banis bilong Jerusalem, dispela i bruk daun pinis, na ol dua bilong banis bilong en i kuk olgeta wantaim paia. And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
Nau mi go antap long ai bilong wara i sut dua bilong banis, na long liklik raunwara bilong king. Tasol i no gat ples bilong dispela animal i stap aninit long mi long wokabaut. Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king’s pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass.
Nau mi go antap long nait klostu long liklik wara, na lukim banis, na tanim bek, na go insait long ples daun dua bilong banis, na go bek olsem. Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
Na ol hetman i no save long wanem hap we mi go, o mi mekim wanem. Na tu mi no bin tokaut yet long en long ol Ju, o long ol pris, o long ol bikman, o long ol hetman, o long olgeta arapela husat i bin mekim wok. And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
Nau mi tokim ol, Yupela luksave long dispela bikpela wari yumi stap long en, long Jerusalem i stap nating olsem wanem, na ol dua bilong banis bilong en i kuk olgeta wantaim paia. Kam, na yumi wokim i go antap dispela banis bilong Jerusalem, inap long yumi no inap stap wanpela samting bilong sem moa. Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
Nau mi tokim ol long han bilong God bilong mi, dispela i stap gutpela antap long mi, na tu long ol toktok bilong king, dispela em i bin toktok long mi. Na ol i tok, Yumi kirap na wokim. Olsem na ol i strongim ol han bilong ol bilong dispela gutpela wok. Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
Tasol taim man Horon Sanbalat, na wokboi Tobaia, man Amon, na man Arabia Gesem i harim dispela, ol i lap long mipela inap long sem bilong tok bilas, na ol i tingim mipela olsem samting nating, na tok, Dispela em i wanem samting long yupela mekim? Ating yupela i laik bikhet long king? But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Nau mi bekim ol, na tokim ol, God bilong heven, Em bai mekim mipela i kamap gutpela. Olsem na mipela, ol wokboi bilong Em, bai kirap na wokim. Tasol yupela no gat hap skel, o rait bilong toktok, o samting bilong holim tingting, insait long Jerusalem. Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
