Na em i sindaun, na skulim ol manmeri ausait long sip. | And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. |
Nau taim em i bin lusim wok bilong toktok, em i tokim Saimon, Putim sip i go ausait long ples dip, na lusim ol umben bilong yupela i go daun bilong pulim wanpela lain pis. | Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

Tasol long tok bilong yu mi bai lusim umben i go daun. | And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. |
Na taim ol i bin mekim dispela, ol i raunim wanpela traipela lain tru bilong ol pis. Na umben bilong ol i bruk. | And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Na ol kam, na pulimapim tupela sip wantaim, inap long ol i stat long go daun isi isi. | And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. |
Taim Saimon Pita i lukim dispela, em i pundaun long tupela skru bilong Jisas, i spik, Lusim mi. Long wanem, mi wanpela man i pulap long sin, O Bikpela. | When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
Long wanem, em i kirap nogut, na olgeta husat i stap wantaim em, long dispela lain pis ol i bin kisim. | For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

I stat long nau i go yu bai kisim ol man. | And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. |
Na taim ol i bin bringim ol sip bilong ol i go long nambis, ol i givim baksait long olgeta, na bihainim em. | And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Na em i putim han bilong em i go ausait, na tasim em, i spik, Mi gat laik. Yu stap klin. Na wantu sik lepra i lusim em. | And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
Na em i givim tok long em long em i no ken tokim wanpela man. Tasol go, na soim yu yet long pris, na wokim ofa bilong klinim bilong yu, bilong bihainim olsem Moses i tok strong, bilong wanpela testimoni i go long ol. | And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Tasol hamas moa olsem wanpela biknem tru bilong em i go ausait. Na ol traipela lain tru i kam bung wantaim long harim, na long kamap orait long em long ol sik bilong ol. | But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
Na em i surikim em yet i go long ples i no gat man, na beten. | And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
¶ Na em i kamap olsem long wanpela de, taim em i skulim ol manmeri, long i gat ol Farisi na ol dokta bilong lo i sindaun klostu, husat i kam ausait long olgeta wan wan taun bilong Galili, na Judia, na Jerusalem. Na pawa bilong Bikpela i stap long oraitim ol. | And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Na, lukim, ol man i bringim long bet wanpela man husat sik palsi i kisim em. Na ol i painim rot long bringim em insait, na long slipim em long ai bilong em. | And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
Na taim ol i no inap long painim wanem rot long ol i ken bringim em insait, bilong wanem, dispela bikpela lain tru i stap, ol i go antap long antap bilong haus, na lusim em i go daun namel long ol tail bilong rup wantaim liklik bet bilong em i go namel long ol manmeri long ai bilong Jisas. | And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
Na taim em i lukim bilip tru bilong ol, em i tokim em, Man, mi lusim ol sin bilong yu. | And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
Na ol man bilong rait na ol Farisi i stat long stretim tok, i spik, Dispela em i husat husat i toktok long ol tok bilas? Husat i ken lusim ol sin, na i no God wanpela tasol? | And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
Tasol taim Jisas i kisim save long ol tingting bilong ol, em i bekim tok long ol, Yupela i stretim tok long wanem samting insait long ol bel bilong yupela? | But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
Wanem em i isi moa, long tok, Mi lusim ol sin bilong yu, o long tok, Kirap na wokabaut? | Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
Tasol inap long yupela i ken save long Pikinini Man bilong man i gat pawa long dispela graun long lusim ol sin, (em i tokim man i sik long sik palsi,) Mi tokim yu, Kirap, na kisim liklik bet bilong yu i go antap, na go insait long haus bilong yu. | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
Na wantu em i kirap long ai bilong ol, na kisim i go antap dispela samting we em i slip antap long en, na lusim hap i go long haus bilong em yet, taim em i givim glori long God. | And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
Na ol olgeta i kirap nogut tru, na ol i givim glori long God, na ol i pulap wantaim pret, i spik, Mipela i bin lukim ol narakain samting tude. | And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
¶ Na bihain long ol dispela samting em i go ausait, na lukim wanpela man bilong kisim takis, husat nem bilong em em Livai, taim em i sindaun long kisim kastam mani. Na em i tokim em, Bihainim mi. | And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
Na em i lusim olgeta samting, kirap, na bihainim em. | And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

Na i gat wanpela bikpela lain bilong ol man bilong kisim takis na ol arapela husat i sindaun wantaim ol. | And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. |

Na Jisas i bekim tok long ol, Ol husat i orait olgeta i no gat nid long dokta. Tasol ol husat i sik i gat nid long dokta. | And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
Mi no kam long singautim ol stretpela man, tasol long singautim ol sinman long tanim bel. | I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Na ol i tokim em, Bilong wanem ol disaipel bilong Jon i tambuim kaikai planti taim, na mekim ol prea, na wankain olsem ol disaipel bilong ol Farisi, tasol ol disaipel bilong yu i kaikai na dring? | And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
Na em i tokim ol, Yupela i ken mekim ol pikinini bilong rum bilong meri i laik marit long tambuim kaikai, taim man i laik marit i stap wantaim ol? | And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
Tasol ol de bai kam, taim ol bai tekewe man i laik marit long ol, na nau ol bai tambuim kaikai long ol dispela de. | But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
Na em i tok tu long ol long wanpela tok piksa. I no gat man i putim wanpela hap bilong nupela klos antap long olpela. Sapos i no olsem, orait nupela bai wokim wanpela bruk, na dispela hap ol i kisim ausait long nupela i no wanbel wantaim olpela wantaim. | And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
Na i no gat man i putim nupela wain i go insait long ol olpela skin meme. Nogut nupela wain bai brukim ol skin meme, na kapsait, na ol skin meme bai pinis olgeta. | And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Tasol ol i mas putim nupela wain insait long ol nupela skin meme. Na tupela wantaim i ken stap gut yet. | But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
I no gat man tu taim em i bin dringim olpela wain kwiktaim i gat laik long nupela. Long wanem, em i tok, Olpela i gutpela moa. | No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
