| 1 | Och Herren sade till mig; Gack än en gång bort, och älska den bolerska och horiska qvinnona; såsom Herren älskar Israels barn, och de vända sig likväl till främmande gudar, och bola för en kanno vins skull. | Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine. |
| 2 | Och jag vardt med henne öfverens om femton silfpenningar och halftannat homer bjugg; | So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley: |

| 5 | Derefter skola Israels barn omvända sig, och söka Herran sin Gud, och sin Konung David; och skola ära Herran, och hans nåd i yttersta tidenom. | Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. |
