1 Du skall icke tro lögnaktigt tal, så att du gör enom ogudaktigom bistånd, och warder ett wrångt wittne. Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2 Du skall icke följa hopen efter till det ondt är; och icke swara för rätten, så att du efter hopen wiker ifrå det rätt är. Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3 Du skall icke bepryda den fattiga i hans sak. Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
4 När du finner dins owäns oxa eler åsna, att han far will, så skall du ledan hem till honom igen. If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5 När du finner hans åsna, som dig hatar, ligga under bördone, skall du icke låta honom ligga; utan hjelpa honom upp. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
6 Du skall icke böja dins fattigas rätt i hans sak. Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
7 War fjerran ifrå falska saker. Den oskylidga och rättfärdiga skall du icke dräpa; ty jag gifwer ingom ogudaktigom rätt. Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
8 Du skall icke taga mutor; förty mutor förblinda de seende, och förwända de rättfärdigas saker. And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
9 Du skall icke undertrycka främlingar ty I hweten huru de främlingar i hjertat likar, efter I hafwen ock främlingar warit i Egypti lande. Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
10 I sex år skall du få ditt land, och insamla deß frukt. And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:
11 På sjunde årena skall du låta det hwilas och ligga, att de fattige af ditt folk måga äta deraf: Och hwad öfwer blifwer, låt wilddjuren på markene äta det. Så skall du ock göra med dinom wingård och oljoberge. But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12 I sex dagar skall du göra ditt arbete, men den sjunde dagen skall du skona; på det din oxe och åsne måga hwila sig, och dine tjenarinnos son, och främlingen wederqwicka sig. Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
13 Allt det jag eder sagt hafwer, det håller. Och andra gudars namn skolen I icke ihågkomma; och af edar mun skola de icke hörde warda. And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14 I tre resor om året skolen I hålla mig högtid. Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
15 Nämliga de osyrade bröds högtid skall du hålla, att du i sju dagar osyradt bröd äter, såsom jag dig budit hafwer, i den tiden i Abibs månad; förty uti honom äst du utfaren utur Egyten; men kom icke med tomma händer fram för mig; Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16 Och den högtiden, när du först begynner berga det du på markene fått hafwer; och insamlingens högtid i årsens utgång, när du ditt arbete utaf markene insamlat hafwer. And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
17 Tre resor om året skall allt det mankön är komma fram för HERran Gud. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.
18 Du skall icke offra mitt offers blod med surdeg; och mins högtides feta skall icke blifwa qwart intill morgonen. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
19 Förstlingen af första frukten på dine mark skall du föra in uti HERrans dins Guds hus; och skall icke koka kidet, så länge det på sine moders mjölk är. The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
20 Si, jag sänder en Ängel framföre dig, den dig skall bewara på wägen, och föra dig till det rum, som jag beredt hafwer. Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 Derföre tag dig wara för hans ansigte, och hör hans röst, och förbittra honom icke; ty han skall icke skona eder, när I brottslige ären; och mitt Namn är i honom. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
22 Hörer du hans röst, och gör allt det jag säger dig; så skall jag wara dina fiendars fiende, och dina moståndares motståndare. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
23 När nu min Ängel går framföre dig, och förer dig till de Amoreer, Hetheer, Phereseer, Cananeer, Heveer, och Jebuseer, och jag förgör dem; For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.
24 Då skall du icke tillbedja deras gudar, ej heller tjena dem, och icke göra såsom de göra; utan skall deras afgudar bortkasta, och sönderslå dem. Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
25 Men HERranom edrom Gud skolen I tjena, så skall han wälsigna ditt bröd och ditt watten; och skall alla krankhet taga dig ifrå. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 Ingen ensam eller ofruktsam skall wara i dino lande; och jag skall låta dig blifwa gamlan. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
27 Jag skall sända min förskräckelse framföre dig, och göre allt folk förtwifladt, dit du kommer; och skall låta alla dina fiendar komma på flyktena för dig. I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28 Jag skall sända getingar framföre dig, som skola för dig utjaga de Heveer, Cananeer och Hetheer. And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29 Jag skall icke utdrifwa dem på ett år för dig, att landet icke skall öde warda, och wilddjur föröka sig emot dig. I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30 Tågliga skall jag drifwa dem ut för dig, intilldeß du må wäxa till, och besitta landet. By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31 Och skall jag sätta ditt landmäre, det röda hafwet, till de Philisteers haf, och ifrån öknene allt intill älfwena; ty jag skall gifwa landsens inbyggare i dina hand, att du skall utdrifwa dem före dig. And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
32 Du skall intet förbund göra med dem; eller med deras gudar; Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33 Utan låt icke bo dem i dino lande, att de icke komma dig till att synda emot mig; förty, om du tjenar deras gudar, kommer det dig till förargelse. They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
