1 Förty himmelriket är likt enom husbonda, som gick ut bittida om morgonen, til at leja sig arbetare i sin wingård. For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 Och när han hade warit öfwerens med arbetarena om en wiss dagspenning, sände han dem i sin wingård. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 Sedan gick han ut wid tredje stunden, och såg några andra ståndande fåfänga på torget; And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 Och sade til dem: Går ock I uti min wingård, och hwad skäligt är, will jag gifwa eder: And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Och de gingo. Och åter gick han ut wid sjette och nionde stunden, och gjorde sammaledes. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 Men wid den ellofte stundena gick han ut, och fann några andra ståndande fåfänga, och sade til dem: Hwi stån I här hela dagen fåfänge? And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 De sade til honom: Ty ingen hafwer legt oss. Då sade han til dem: Går ock I uti min wingård, och hwad skäligit är skolen I få. They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 När aftonen kom, sade wingårdsherren til sin skaffare: Kalla fram arbetarena, och gif dem deras lön, begynnandes på de sista, intil de första. So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 Och när de kommo fram, som wid ellofte stundena komne woro, fick hwardera dagspenningen. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 Men när de förste kommo, mente de, at de skulle fått mer; och fingo ock hwardera dagspenningen. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 Och när de så fingo, knorrade de emot husbondan; And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Och sade: Desse siste hafwa arbetat en timma, och du gjorde dem lika med oss, som hafwa burit dagsens tunga och hetan. Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 Då swarade han enom af dem, och sade: Min wän, jag gör dig ingen orätt; wast du icke öfwerens med mig om en wiss dagspenning? But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Tag det dig tilhörer, och gack din wäg; men jag will gifwa denna sista så mycket som dig. Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Eller må jag icke göra uti min ting hwad jag will? Ser du fördenskull illa ut, at jag så god är? Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 Alltså warda de ytterste de främste, och de främste de ytterste: Ty månge äro kallade; men få äro utwalde. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17 Och så drog JEsus up til Jerusalem, och tog de tolf Lärjungarna til sig på wägen, och sade til dem: And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Si, wi farom up til Jerusalem, och menniskones Son skall öfwerantwardas dem öfwersta Prestomen, och dem Skriftlärdom; och de skola döma honom til döden. Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 Och de skola öfwerantwarda honom Hedningomen, til at begabbas, och hudflängas, och korsfästas; och tredje dagen skall han uppstå igen. And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20 Då steg Zebedei söners moder fram til honom med sina söner, tilbad honom, och begärade något af honom. Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 Då sade han til henne: Hwad wilt du? Sade hon til honom: Låt dessa twå mina söner sitta i ditt rike, den ena på dine högra hand, och den andra på dine wenstra. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22 Då swarade JEsus, och sade: I weten icke hwad I bedjen; kunnen I dricka den kalken, som jag skall dricka, och döpas med det dopet, som jag döpes med? Då sade de til honom: Ja, wäl. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 Sade han til dem: Min kalk skolen I wisst dricka, och döpas med det dop, som jag döpes med; men sitta på mine högra hand och wenstra, står icke mig til at gifwa, utan dem, som det tilredt är af minom Fader. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
24 När de tio det hörde, wordo de misslynte på de twå bröderna. And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25 Då kallade JEsus dem til sig, och sade: I weten, at werldslige Förstar äro rådande, och de som herrar äro, hafwa magtena. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 Så skall det icke wara ibland eder; utan den som will wara mägtig ibland eder, han ware edar tjenare. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 Och hwilken ibland eder will wara den främste, han ware edar dräng. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Såsom menniskones Son är icke kommen, på det han will låta tjena sig, utan at han will tjena, och gifwa sitt lif til återlösning för många. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29 Och när de gingo utaf Jericho, följde honom mycket folk. And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 Och si, twå blinde såto wid wägen; och när de hörde, at JEsus gick der fram, ropade de, och sade: Ack HERre, Davids Son, förbarma dig öfwer oss. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
31 Men folket näpste dem, at de skulle tiga. Då ropade de dess mer, och sade: Ack HERre, Davids Son, förbarma dig öfwer oss. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
32 Då stadnade JEsus, och kallade dem, och sade: Hwad wiljen I, at jag skall göra eder? And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 De sade til honom: HERre, at wår ögon måtte öpnas. They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 Då warkunnade sig JEsus öfwer dem, och tog på deras ögon; och straxt fingo de sina syn, och följde honom. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
