| 2 | De Heere heeft Zijn heil bekend gemaakt; Hij heeft Zijn gerechtigheid geopenbaard voor de ogen der heidenen. | The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. |
| 3 | Hij is gedachtig geweest Zijner goedertierenheid, en Zijner waarheid aan het huis Israëls; en al de einden der aarde hebben gezien het heil onzes Gods. | He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. |
