| 1 | Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, está sobre tus pies, y hablaré contigo. | And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. |
| 2 | Y entró espíritu en mí después que me habló; y me afirmó sobre mis pies, y oí al que me hablaba. | And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. |
| 3 | Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, yo te envió a los hijos de Israel, a gentes rebeldes, que se rebelaron contra mí: ellos y sus padres se rebelaron contra mí, hasta este mismo día. | And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. |
| 4 | Y a hijos duros de rostros, y fuertes de corazón yo te envío; y decirles has: Así dijo el Señor Jehová. | For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. |
| 5 | Y ellos no oirán, ni cesarán, porque son casa rebelde: mas conocerán que hubo profeta entre ellos. | And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. |
| 6 | Y tú, o! hijo del hombre, no temas de ellos, ni hayas miedo de sus palabras, porque son rebeldes; y espinos viven contigo, y tu moras con abrojos: no hayas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde. | And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. |
| 7 | Hablarles has mis palabras, mas no oirán, ni cesarán, porque son rebeldes. | And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. |
| 8 | Mas tú, hijo del hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo: No seas rebelde como la casa rebelde: abre tu boca, y come lo que yo te doy. | But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. |
| 9 | Y miré, y, he aquí, una mano me fue enviada, y en ella había un libro envuelto. | And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; |
| 10 | Y extendióle delante de mí, y estaba escrito delante y detrás; y estaban en él escritas endechas, y lamentación, y ayes. | And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe. |
