| 1 | Ví al Señor que estaba sobre el altar, y dijo: Hiere el umbral, y estremézcanse las puertas; y córtalos en piezas la cabeza de todos; y el postrero de ellos mataré a cuchillo: no habrá de ellos quien huya, ni quien escape. | I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered. |
| 2 | Si cavaren hasta el infierno, de allá los tomará mi mano; y si subieren hasta el cielo, de allá los haré descender: | Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: |
| 3 | Y si se escondieren en la cumbre del Carmelo, allí los buscaré, y los tomaré; y si se escondieren de delante de mis ojos en el profundo de la mar, allí mandaré a la culebra, y morderlos ha: | And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: |
| 4 | Y si fueren en cautiverio delante de sus enemigos, allí mandaré a la espada, y matarlos ha; y pondré sobre ellos mis ojos para mal, y no para bien. | And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. |
| 5 | El Señor Jehová de los ejércitos, que toca la tierra, y se derretirá, y llorarán todos los que en ella moran; y subirá toda como un río, y será hundida como el río de Egipto. | And the Lord God of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
| 6 | El edificó en el cielo sus grados, y su conjunto fundó sobre la tierra: él llama las aguas de la mar, y las derrama sobre la haz de la tierra: Jehová es su nombre. | It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name. |
| 7 | Hijos de Israel, ¿no me sois vosotros como hijos de Etiopes? dijo Jehová: ¿No hice yo subir a Israel de la tierra de Egipto, y a los Palestinos de Caftor, y a los Siros de Kir? | Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the Lord. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? |
| 8 | He aquí que los ojos del Señor Jehová están contra el reino pecador; y yo le asolaré de la haz de la tierra: mas no destruiré del todo la casa de Jacob, dijo Jehová. | Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord. |
| 9 | Porque he aquí que yo mandaré, y haré que la casa de Israel sea zarandada en todas las naciones, como se zaranda el grano en un harnero, y no cae una chinica en la tierra. | For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. |
| 10 | A espada morirán todos los pecadores de mi pueblo, que dicen: No se acercará, ni se anticipará el mal por causa nuestra. | All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. |
| 11 | En aquel día yo levantaré la cabaña de David caída, y cerraré sus portillos, y levantaré sus ruinas, y edificarle he como en el tiempo pasado: | In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: |
| 12 | Para que aquellos sobre los cuales es llamado mi nombre, posean la resta de Idumea, y a todas las naciones, dijo Jehová que hace esto. | That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this. |
| 13 | ¶ He aquí que vienen días, dijo Jehová, en que el que ara se llegará al segador, y el pisador de las uvas al que lleva la simiente; y los montes destilarán mosto, y todos los collados se derretirán. | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. |
| 14 | Y tornaré el cautiverio de mi pueblo Israel; y edificarán las ciudades asoladas, y habitarlas han; y plantarán viñas, y beberán el vino de ellas; y harán huertos, y comerán el fruto de ellos. | And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. |
| 15 | Y plantarlos he sobre su tierra, y nunca más serán arrancados de su tierra, la cual yo les dí, dijo Jehová Dios tuyo. | And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God. |
