1 Jehová, no me reprendas con tu furor, ni me castigues con tu ira. O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Porque tus saetas descendieron en mí; y sobre mí ha descendido tu mano. For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
3 No hay sanidad en mi carne a causa de tu ira: no hay paz en mis huesos a causa de mi pecado. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
4 Porque mis iniquidades han pasado sobre mi cabeza: como carga pesada, se han agravado sobre mí. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
5 Pudriéronse, y corrompiéronse mis llagas a causa de mi locura. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
6 Estoy encorvado, estoy humillado en gran manera: todo el día ando enlutado. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
7 Porque mis caderas están llenas de ardor: y no hay sanidad en mi carne. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8 Estoy debilitado y molido en gran manera: rugiendo estoy a causa del alboroto de mi corazón. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
9 Señor, delante de ti están todos mis deseos: y mi suspiro no te es oculto. Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10 Mi corazón está rodeado, me ha dejado mi vigor; y la luz de mis ojos, aun ellos no están conmigo. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
11 Mis amigos, y mis compañeros, se quitaron de delante de mi plaga: y mis cercanos se pusieron lejos. My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
12 Y los que buscaban a mi alma armaron lazos: y los que buscaban mi mal, hablaban iniquidades: y todo el día meditaban fraudes. They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
13 Y yo, como sordo, no oía: y como un mudo, que no abre su boca. But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14 Y fui como un hombre que no oye: y que no hay en su boca reprensiones. Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 Porque a ti Jehová esperaba: tú responderás Jehová Dios mío. For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
16 Porque decía: Que no se alegren de mí: cuando mi pie resbalaba se engrandecían sobre mí. For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17 Porque yo aparejado estoy a cojear: y mi dolor está delante de mí continuamente. For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 Por tanto denunciaré mi maldad: congojarme he por mi pecado. For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19 Porque mis enemigos son vivos y fuertes: y hánse aumentado los que me aborrecen sin causa: But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20 Y pagando mal por bien me son contrarios, por seguir yo lo bueno. They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21 No me desampares, o! Jehová; Dios mío, no te alejes de mí. Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.
22 Apresúrate a ayudarme, Señor, que eres mi salud. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
