| 1 | Потом дође ми ријеч Господња говорећи: | Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| 2 | Сине човјечји, овако каже Господ Господ за земљу Израиљеву: крај, дође крај на четири стране земљи. | Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. |
| 3 | Дође ти крај, и пустићу гњев свој на те, и судићу ти по путовима твојим и обратићу на те све гадове твоје. | Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. |
| 4 | И око моје неће те пожалити, нити ћу се смиловати, него ћу путове твоје обратити на те, и гадови ће твоји бити усред тебе, и познаћете да сам ја Господ. | And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
| 5 | Овако вели Господ Господ: зло, једно зло, ево иде. | Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. |
| 6 | Крај дође, крај дође, уста на те, ево дође. | An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come. |
| 7 | Дође јутро теби, становниче земаљски, дође вријеме, приближи се дан, кад ће бити полом а не јека горска. | The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. |
| 8 | Сада ћу одмах излити јарост своју на те, и навршићу гњев свој на теби, и судићу ти по твојим путовима, и обратићу на те све гадове твоје. | Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. |
| 9 | Неће жалити око моје, нити ћу се смиловати, даћу ти по путовима твојим, и гадови ће твоји бити усред тебе, и познаћете да сам ја Господ, који бије. | And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord that smiteth. |
| 10 | Ево дана, ево дође, јутро наста, процвате прут, поноситост напупи. | Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. |
| 11 | Насиље нарасте прут безакоња, нико неће остати од њих ни од мноштва њихова ни од буке њихове, нити ће бити нарицања за њима. | Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. |
| 12 | Дође вријеме, приспје дан; ко купује нека се не радује, и ко продаје нека не жали, јер ће доћи гњев на све људство њихово. | The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| 13 | Јер ко продаје, неће опет доћи до онога што прода, ако и остане жив; јер утвара за све мноштво њихово неће се вратити натраг, и нико се неће окријепити безакоњем својим да сачува живот свој. | For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. |
| 14 | Затрубише у трубе, и спремише све; али нема никога да изађе у бој, јер се гњев мој распалио на све људство њихово. | They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| 15 | Напољу мач, а унутра помор и глад; ко буде у пољу, погинуће од мача; а ко буде у граду, њега ће глад и помор прождријети. | The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. |
| 16 | А који их утеку, избавиће се и биће по горама као голубови из долина, сви ће уздисати, сваки за своје безакоње. | But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity. |
| 17 | Све ће руке клонути и сва ће кољена постати као вода. | All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. |
| 18 | И припасаће око себе костријет, и дрхат ће их попасти, и на сваком ће лицу бити стид, и све ће им главе бити ћелаве. | They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. |
| 19 | Сребро ће своје побацати по улицама, и злато ће њихово бити као нечистота; сребро њихово и злато њихово неће их моћи избавити у дан гњева Господњега; неће наситити душе своје нити ће напунити трбуха својега, јер им је безакоње њихово спотицање. | They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. |
| 20 | Јер славни накит свој обратише на охолост, и начинише од њега ликове гадова својих, гнусобе своје; зато учиних да им је нечистота. | As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them. |
| 21 | И даћу га у руке иностранцима да га разграбе, и безбожницима на земљи да је плијен, и оскврниће га. | And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it. |
| 22 | И одвратићу лице своје од њих, и оскврниће светињу моју, и ући ће у њу лупежи и оскврниће је. | My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it. |
| 23 | Начини вериге, јер је земља пуна крвнога суда, и град је пун насиља. | Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. |
| 24 | Зато ћу довести најгоре између народа да наслиједе куће њихове, и укинућу охолост силнијех, и света мјеста њихова оскврниће се. | Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled. |
| 25 | Иде погибао; они ће тражити мира, али га неће бити. | Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. |
| 26 | Невоља за невољом долазиће, и глас за гласом стизаће; и они ће тражити утвару од пророка; закона ће нестати у свештеника и свјета у стараца. | Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients. |
| 27 | Цар ће тужити, и кнезови ће се обући у жалост, и руке народу земаљском дрктаће; учинићу им по путовима њиховијем и судићу им према судовима њиховијем; и познаће да сам ја Господ. | The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
