| 1 | Чуј, Боже, глас мој у јаду мом; од страшнога непријатеља сачувај живот мој. | Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. |
| 2 | Сакриј ме од гомиле безаконика, од чете злочинаца, | Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: |
| 3 | Који наоштрише језик свој као мач, стријељају ријечима, које задају ране, | Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: |
| 4 | Да би из потаје убили правога. Изненада ударају на њ и не боје се; | That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. |
| 5 | Утврђују себе у злијем намјерама, договарају се како ће замке сакрити, веле: ко ће их видјети? | They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? |
| 6 | Измишљају злочинства и говоре: свршено је! шта ће се радити, смишљено је! А што је унутра и срце у човјека дубоко је. | They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. |
| 7 | Али ће их Бог поразити; удариће их стријела изненада. | But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. |
| 8 | Обориће један другога језиком својим. Ко их год види, бјежаће од њих. | So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. |
| 9 | Сви ће се људи бојати и казиваће чудо Божије, и познаће у томе дјело његово. | And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. |
| 10 | А праведник ће се веселити о Господу и уздаће се у њега, и хвалиће се сви који су права срца. | The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. |
