절	Serbian Bible Daničić-Karadžić Ijekavski	King James Version
1	Од Павла, слуге Божијега, а апостола Исуса Христа по вјери избранијех Божијих, и по познању истине побожности,	Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
2	За над вјечнога живота, који обећа нелажни Бог прије времена вјечнијех,	In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
3	А јави у времена своја ријеч своју проповиједањем, које је мени повјерено по заповијести спаситеља нашега Бога,	But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
4	Титу, правоме сину по вјери нас обојице, благодат, милост, мир од Бога оца и Господа Исуса Христа, спаса нашега.	To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
5	Зато те оставих у Криту да поправиш што је недовршено, и да поставиш по свијем градовима свештенике, као што ти ја заповједих,	For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
6	Ако је ко без мане, једне жене муж, и има вјерну дјецу, коју не коре за курварство или за непокорност.	If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
7	Јер владика треба да је без мане, као Божиј пристав; не који себи угађа, не гњевљив, не пијаница, не бојац, не лаком на погани добитак;	For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8	Него гостољубив, благ, поштен, праведан, свет, чист;	But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9	Који се држи вјерне ријечи по науци, да буде кадар и свјетовати са здравом науком, и покарати оне који се противе.	Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10	Јер има много непослушнијех, празноговорљивијех, и умом преваренијех, а особито који су из обрезања,	For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11	Којима треба уста затворити; који цијеле куће изопачују учећи што не треба, поганога добитка ради.	Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12	А рече неко од њих, њихов пророк: Крићани свагда лажљиви, зли звјерови, беспослени трбуси.	One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13	Сведочанство је ово истинито; заради тога узрока карај их без штеђења, да буду здрави у вјери,	This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14	Не слушајући Јеврејскијех гаталица ни заповијести људи који се одвраћају од истине.	Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15	Чистима је све чисто; а поганима и невјернима ништа није чисто, него је опогањен њихов и ум и савјест.	Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16	Говоре да познају Бога, а дјелима га се одричу; јер су мрски и непослушни, и ни за какво добро дјело ваљани.	They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
