| 2 | Gepriesen sei der Name des HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit! | Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. |
| 3 | Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zum Niedergang sei gelobt der Name des HERRN! | From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised. |
| 4 | Der HERR ist erhaben über alle Heiden, seine Herrlichkeit ist höher als der Himmel. | The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. |
| 5 | Wer ist wie der HERR, unser Gott, der in solcher Höhe thront? | Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, |
