| 2 | O Gott, mein Herz ist bereit: ich will singen und spielen; wach auf, meine Seele! | Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. |
| 3 | Psalter und Harfe, wacht auf! Ich will die Morgenröte wecken. | I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. |
| 4 | HERR, ich will dir danken unter den Völkern und dir singen unter den Nationen; | For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. |
| 5 | denn groß bis über den Himmel ist deine Gnade, und bis an die Wolken reicht deine Treue. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; |
| 6 | Erhebe dich über die Himmel, o Gott, und über die ganze Erde deine Herrlichkeit! | That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me. |
