| 19 | ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ̈ ⲛⲉⲁⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ϫⲉ ⲉⲩⲉⲥⲗ̅ⲥⲱⲗⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲉⲩⲥⲟⲛ. | And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. |
| 20 | ⲙⲁⲣⲑⲁ ϭⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ϫⲉ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲏⲩ. ⲁⲥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲏⲧϥ̅. ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲏⲉ͡ⲓ. | Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. |

| 22 | ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ϫⲉ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲕⲛⲁⲁⲓⲧⲓ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲕ. | But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. |

| 25 | ⲡⲉϫⲉⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ. ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲱⲛϩ. ⲡⲉⲧⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲉ͡ⲓ. ⲕⲁⲛ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲙⲟⲩ ϥⲛⲁⲱⲛϩ. | Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: |
