ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲉⲧⲉⲭⲱⲣⲁ ⲛⲛ̅ⲅⲉⲣⲁⲥⲏⲛⲟⲥ | And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲫⲱϭⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲙⲛⲧ̅ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛ̅ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ | And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
ⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲡ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲟⲩ ⲉⲙⲡⲉϣⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϭⲉ ϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲙⲟⲣϥ̅ ϩⲛ̅ϩⲁⲗⲩⲥⲓⲥ | Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲣϥ̅ ⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲟⲡ ⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲡⲁⲓⲇⲉⲥ ⲛⲙ̅ϩⲉⲛϩⲁⲗⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ϣⲁϥⲥⲗⲡ̅ⲛ̅ϩⲁⲗⲩⲥⲓⲥ ⲛϥ̅ⲟⲩⲉϭⲡⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲓⲇⲉⲥ ⲉⲙⲡⲉϣⲗⲁⲁⲩ ϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲣⲟϥ | Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩϣⲏ ⲛⲙ̅ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉϥϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲙϩⲁⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲓ̈ⲏ ⲉϥϫⲓϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϩⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲱⲛⲉ. | And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲟⲩⲉ ⲁϥⲡⲱⲧ ⲁϥⲡⲁϩⲧϥ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ̅ ⲛⲁϥ | But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
ⲁϥⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϩⲣⲟⲕ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲓ̈ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲟⲥⲉ ϯⲱⲣⲕ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ. ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲕⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲓⲍⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲓ̈. | And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
ⲛⲉⲣⲉⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛ̅ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ. | For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϫⲛⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲣⲛⲧⲕ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲗⲉⲅⲓⲱⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲧⲛ̅ϫⲕϩⲁϩ | And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ̅ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲭⲱⲣⲁ. | And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
ⲛⲉⲥⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲙⲡ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ⲁⲅⲉⲗⲏ ⲣ̅ⲣⲓⲣ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ | Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϣⲁⲩ | And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲕⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲃⲱⲕ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲃⲱⲕʾ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲛⲉϣⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲣⲱϩⲧ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲧⲁⲅⲉⲗⲏ ⲣ̅ⲣⲓⲣ ϩⲓϫⲛ̅ⲧϣⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ̅ϫⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲛ̅ϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ | And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
ⲛⲉⲧⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲡⲱⲧ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲡⲟⲩⲱ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ. | And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
ⲁⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲟ ⲛⲣⲉϥϣⲟⲟⲣ ⲉϥϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉϥϩⲟⲉⲓⲧⲉ ϩⲓⲱⲱϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⲥⲙⲟⲛⲧ. ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁⲗⲉⲅⲉⲱⲛ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ. | And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲟ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲛⲉϣⲁⲩ | And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲡⲱⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲧⲟϣ | And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲁϥⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ̅ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲡⲉⲧⲟ ⲛ̅ⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ | And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡϥ̅ⲕⲁⲁϥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲉⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲏⲉⲓ ϣⲁⲛⲉⲕⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲅ̅ⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲉⲁϥⲛⲁ ⲛⲁⲕ | Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥⲁⲣⲭⲉⲥⲑⲁⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϣⲉⲟⲉⲓϣ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲇⲉⲕⲁⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲁϥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲣ̅ϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ | And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲟⲟⲣ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲡⲉⲕⲣⲟ. ⲁⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙ̅ⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ. ⲛⲉϥϩⲁⲧⲉⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲇⲉ | And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲁ ⲛ̅ⲁⲣⲭⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲓ̈ⲁⲉⲓⲣⲟⲥ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁϥⲡⲁϩⲧϥ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ | And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲥⲉⲡⲥⲱⲡϥ̅ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲙⲟⲕϩ̅ ⲛ̅ϣⲱⲛⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ϭⲉ ⲉⲕⲉⲉⲓ ⲛⲅ̅ⲕⲁⲧⲟⲟⲧⲕ̅ ϩⲓϫⲱⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲥⲉⲗⲟ ⲛⲥ̅ⲱⲛϩ | And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩϥ̅ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙ̅ⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲑⲗⲓⲃⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ. | And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ϣⲟⲩⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲓⲥⲙⲛⲧⲥ̅ⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲣ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ. | And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥϣⲉⲡϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ϩⲓⲥⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲁϩ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥϫⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲩⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲙⲡⲥ̅ⲙ̅ⲧⲟⲛ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ. ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲛ̅ⲑⲟ. | And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉⲥⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲥⲟϣⲥ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲧⲏⲛ | When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
ⲁⲥϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓ̈ϣⲁⲛϫⲱϩ ⲉⲛⲉϥϩⲟⲓ̈ⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲗⲟ. | For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲥϭⲱ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲧⲡⲏⲅⲏ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲥⲥⲛⲟϥ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲉⲓⲙⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲥⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥⲗⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝ ⲉⲧⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲥ | And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲉ͡ⲓⲙⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧϥ̅ ⲉⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲁϥⲕⲧⲟϥ ϩⲙⲡ̅ⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲧⲁϥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲛⲁϩⲟⲓ̈ⲧⲉ | And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
ⲡⲉϫⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲧⲑⲗⲓⲃⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲕϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥϫⲱϩ ⲉⲣⲟⲉⲓ. | And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
ⲁϥⲕⲧⲉⲓ̈ⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲥⲣ̅ⲡⲁⲓ̈ | And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
ⲧⲉⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲥⲥⲧⲱⲧ ⲉⲥⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲛⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲁⲥⲉⲓ ⲁⲥⲡⲁϩⲧⲥ̅ ϩⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ̅ ⲁⲥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲙⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ̅ | But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲥⲛⲁϩⲙⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ϩⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ. ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲗⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲁⲥⲧⲓⲅⲝ. | And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
ⲉⲧⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ. ⲁⲩⲉⲓ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲕϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲕⲛⲁϯϩⲟⲓ̈ ϭⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲁϩ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ | While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣ̅ⲣ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲧⲉⲩⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲧⲉ | As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡϥ̅ⲕⲁⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲟⲩⲁϩϥ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ. ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲙ̅ⲓ̈ⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⲛⲙ̅ⲓ̈ⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲛ̅ⲓ̈ⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ | And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲉ͡ⲓ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̅ ⲉⲡⲏⲉⲓ ⲙ̅ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϣⲧⲣ̅ⲧⲱⲣ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲛⲣⲟ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ. | And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁϩⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϣⲧⲣ̅ⲧⲱⲣ. ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥ̅ⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲥⲛ̅ⲕⲟⲧⲕ̅ | And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
ⲁⲩⲥⲱⲃⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲱϥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁϥϫⲓⲡⲓⲱⲧ ⲛ̅ⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲛⲙ̅ⲧⲉⲥⲙⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲙ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁϥ ⲁϥⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲉⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧϥ̅. | And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲉϥⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲛⲧ̅ϭⲓϫ ⲛ̅ⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲗⲉⲓⲑⲁ ⲕⲟⲩⲙ. ⲉⲧⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲡⲉ ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲙⲉϥ ϫⲉ ⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲉⲉⲓϫⲉⲣⲟ ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲉ | And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲥⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲥ̅ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲏⲙ ⲁⲥⲙⲟⲟϣⲉ ⲛⲉⲥϩⲙ̅ⲙⲛⲧ̅ⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲣ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲣ̅ϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛ̅ϣⲡⲏⲣⲉ | And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
ⲁϥϩⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲡⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲉϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲩⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ· | And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
