1	천사와 작은 두루마리 또 나는 힘센 다른 천사 하나가 구름에 싸여서 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보았습니다. 그의 머리 위에는 무지개가 둘려 있고, 그 얼굴은 해와 같고, 발은 불기둥과 같았습니다.	And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2	그는 손에 작은 두루마리 하나를 펴서, 들고 있었습니다. 그는 오른발로는 바다를 디디고, 왼발로는 땅을 디디고 서서,	And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3	마치 사자가 울부짖듯이 큰소리로 부르짖었습니다. 그가 부르짖으니, 일곱 천둥이 각각 제 소리를 내면서 말하였습니다.	And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4	그 일곱 천둥이 말을 다 하였을 때에, 나는 그것을 기록하려고 하였습니다. 그 때에 나는 하늘로부터 음성을 들었는데 "그 일곱 천둥이 말한 것을 인봉하여라. 그것을 기록하지 말아라" 하였습니다.	And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5	그리고 내가 본 그 천사, 곧 바다와 땅을 디디고 서 있는 그 천사가 오른손을 하늘로 쳐들고,	And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6	하늘과 그 안에 있는 것들과 땅과 그 안에 있는 것들과 바다와 그 안에 있는 것들을 창조하시고, 영원무궁 하도록 살아 계시는 분을 두고, 이렇게 맹세하였습니다. "때가 얼마 남지 않았다.	And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7	일곱째 천사가 불려고 하는 나팔 소리가 나는 날에는, 하나님께서 하나님의 종 예언자들에게 전하여 주신 대로, 하나님의 비밀이 이루어질 것이다."	But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
8	하늘로부터 들려 온 그 음성이 다시 내게 말하였습니다. "너는 가서, 바다와 땅을 밟고 서 있는 그 천사의 손에 펴 있는 작은 두루마리를 받아라."	And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9	그래서 내가 그 천사에게로 가서, 그 작은 두루마리를 달라고 하니, 그는 나에게 "이것을 받아 먹어라. 이것은 너의 배에는 쓰겠지만, 너의 입에는 꿀같이 달 것이다" 하였습니다.	And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10	나는 그 천사의 손에서 그 작은 두루마리를 받아서 삼켰습니다. 그것이 내 입에는 꿀같이 달았으나, 먹고 나니, 뱃속은 쓰라렸습니다.	And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11	그 때에 "너는 여러 백성과 민족과 언어와 왕들에 관해서 다시 예언을 하여야 한다" 하는 음성이 내게 들려 왔습니다.	And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
