1	이스라엘의 아들은 르우벤과 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 스불론과	These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2	단과 요셉과 베냐민과 납달리와 갓과 아셀이다.	Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3	유다의 자손 유다의 아들은 에르와 오난과 셀라이며, 이 셋은 가나안 사람 수아의 딸과 유다 사이에서 태어난 아들이다. 유다의 맏아들 에르는 주께서 보시기에 악하였으므로, 주께서 그를 죽이셨다.	The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord; and he slew him.
4	유다의 며느리 다말과 유다 사이에서는 베레스와 세라가 태어났다. 유다의 아들은 모두 다섯이다.	And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
5	베레스의 아들은 헤스론과 하물이다.	The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
6	세라의 아들은 시므리와 에단과 헤만과 갈골과 다라로서, 모두 다섯이다.	And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
7	가르미의 아들은 아갈인데, 그는 하나님께 전멸시켜 바쳐야 하는 물건 때문에 범죄하여 이스라엘을 고통에 빠뜨린 자다.	And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
8	에단의 아들은 아사랴이다.	And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
9	다윗의 가계 헤스론에게서 태어난 아들은 여라므엘과 람과 글루배이다.	The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10	람은 암미나답을 낳고, 암미나답은 유다 자손의 지도자 나손을 낳고,	And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11	나손은 살몬을 낳고, 살몬은 보아스를 낳고,	And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12	보아스는 오벳을 낳고, 오벳은 이새를 낳았다.	And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
13	이새는 그의 맏아들 엘리압과 둘째 아비나답과 셋째 시므아와	And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

17	아비가일은 아마사를 낳았는데, 아마사의 아버지는 이스마엘 사람 예델이다.	And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
18	헤스론의 자손 헤스론의 아들 갈렙은 그의 아내 아수바와 여리옷에게서 아들을 낳았다. 아수바가 낳은 아들은 예셀과 소밥과 아르돈이다.	And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19	아수바가 죽자, 갈렙은 또 에브랏과 결혼하였고, 에브랏과 갈렙 사이에서는 훌이 태어났다.	And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
20	훌은 우리를 낳고, 우리는 브살렐을 낳았다.	And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21	그 뒤에 헤스론은 예순 살에 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 딸에게로 가서, 그와 결혼하였다. 그들 사이에서 스굽이 태어났다.	And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
22	스굽은 야일을 낳았다. 야일은 길르앗 지방의 성읍 스물세 개를 차지하였다.	And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
23	그러나 그술과 아람이, 그낫과 그 주변의 성읍 예순 개와 야일의 마을을, 그들에게서 빼앗았다. 이들은 모두 길르앗의 아버지 마길의 자손이다.	And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24	헤스론이 갈렙 에브라다에서 죽은 뒤에, 그의 아내 아비야는 그의 아들, 드고아의 아버지 아스훌을 낳았다.	And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb–ephratah, then Abiah Hezron’s wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
25	여라므엘의 자손 헤스론의 맏아들 여라므엘의 아들은 맏아들 람과, 그 아래로 브나와 오렌과 오셈과 아히야이다.	And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26	여라므엘에게 또 다른 아내가 있는데, 그의 이름은 아다라이며, 오남의 어머니이다.	Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27	여라므엘의 맏아들 람의 아들은 마아스와 야민과 에겔이다.	And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28	오남의 아들은 삼매와 야다이며, 삼매의 아들은 나답과 아비술이다.	And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.
29	아비술의 아내의 이름은 아비하일이며, 아비술과의 사이에서 아반과 몰릿을 낳았다.	And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
30	나답의 아들은 셀렛과 압바임이며, 셀렛은 아들을 낳지 못하고 죽었다.	And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
31	압바임의 아들은 이시이고, 이시의 아들은 세산이고, 세산의 아들은 알래이다.	And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
32	삼매의 아우 야다의 아들은 예델과 요나단이며, 예델은 아들을 낳지 못하고 죽었다.	And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
33	요나단의 아들은 벨렛과 사사이다. 이들이 여라므엘의 자손이다.	And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34	세산은 아들이 없고 딸뿐이다. 세산에게는 이집트 사람인 종이 있었는데, 그의 이름은 야르하이다.	Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35	세산이 그의 종 야르하에게 자기 딸을 결혼시켰고, 그들 사이에서 앗대가 태어났다.	And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

42	갈렙의 다른 자손 여라므엘의 아우 갈렙의 맏아들은 메사이며, 그는 십의 아버지이고, 그의 아들은 마레사이며, 헤브론의 아버지이다.	Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43	헤브론의 아들은 고라와 답부아와 레겜과 세마이다.	And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44	세마는 요르그암의 아버지 라함을 낳고, 레겜은 삼매를 낳았다.	And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.
45	삼매의 아들은 마온이며, 마온은 벳술의 아버지이다.	And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth–zur.
46	갈렙의 첩 에바는 하란과 모사와 가세스를 낳고, 하란도 가세스라는 아들을 낳았다.	And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.
47	(야대의 아들은 레겜과 요담과 게산과 벨렛과 에바와 사압이다.)	And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48	갈렙의 첩 마아가는 세벨과 디르하나를 낳고,	Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
49	또 맛만나의 아버지 사압을 낳고, 또 막베나와 기브아의 아버지 스와를 낳았다. 갈렙에게는 악사라는 딸도 있었다.	She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50	갈렙의 자손은, 곧 에브라다의 맏아들 훌의 아들은 기럇여아림의 아버지 소발과,	These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim,
51	베들레헴의 아버지 살마와, 벳가델의 아버지 하렙이다.	Salma the father of Beth–lehem, Hareph the father of Beth–gader.
52	기럇여아림의 아버지 소발의 자손은 하로에와 므누홋 족의 절반이니,	And Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.
53	기럇여아림 족은 이델 족과 붓 족과 수맛 족과 미스라 족이다. (이들에게서 소라 족과 에스다올 족이 나왔다.)	And the families of Kirjath–jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.
54	살마의 자손은 베들레헴과 느도바 족과 아다롯벳요압과 마하낫 족의 절반과 소라 족이다.	The sons of Salma; Beth–lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
55	(야베스에 사는 서기관 족은 디랏 족과 시므앗 족과 수갓 족이며, 이들이 레갑 가문의 조상 함맛에게서 나온 겐 족이다.)	And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
