1	지휘자를 따라 현악기에 맞추어 부르는 다윗 나의 옳음을 변호해 주시는 하나님, 내가 부르짖을 때에 응답하여 주십시오. 내가 곤궁에 빠졌을 때에, 주께서 나를 너그럽게 보아 주십시오. 나에게 은혜를 베푸시고, 나의 기도를 들어 주십시오.	Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2	백성들아, 언제까지 내 영광을 욕되게 하려느냐? 언제까지 헛된 일을 좋아하려느냐? 언제까지 거짓된 것을 따라가려느냐? (셀라)	O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3	주께서는 주께 헌신하는 사람을 각별히 돌보심을 기억하여라. 주께서는, 내가 부르짖을 때에 들어 주신다.	But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
4	두려워 떨어라. 죄를 짓지 말아라. 잠자리에 누워 깊이깊이 반성하면서, 눈물을 흘려라. (셀라)	Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5	올바른 제사를 드리고, 주를 의지하여라.	Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6	수많은 사람이 기도할 때마다 "주님, 우리에게 큰 복을 내려 주십시오. 주님, 주의 환한 얼굴을 우리에게 보여 주십시오" 하고 빕니다.	There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7	그러나 주께서 나에게 안겨 주신 기쁨은 햇 곡식과 새 포도주가 풍성할 때에 누리는 기쁨보다 더 큽니다.	Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8	내가 편히 눕거나 잠드는 것도, 주께서 나를 평안히 쉬게 하여 주시기 때문입니다.	I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
