1	다윗 복되어라! 지은 죄 용서받고 허물을 벗은 그 사람!	Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2	주께서 그의 잘못을 따지지 않으시고, 그 마음에 거짓이 없는 사람은 복되고 복되다!	Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3	내가 입을 다물고 죄를 고백하지 않았을 때에는, 온종일 끊임없는 신음으로 내 몸은 탈진하고 말았습니다.	When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4	주님께서 밤낮 손으로 나를 짓누르셨기에, 나의 혀가 여름에 풀 마르듯 말라 버렸습니다. (셀라)	For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5	드디어 나는 내 죄를 주님께 아뢰며 내 잘못을 덮어두지 않고 털어놓았습니다. "내가 주님께 내 허물을 고백합니다" 하였더니, 주께서는 나의 죄를 기꺼이 용서하셨습니다. (셀라)	I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6	믿음이 깊은 사람이 고난을 받을 때에, 모두 주께 기도하게 해주십시오. 고난이 홍수처럼 밀어닥쳐도, 그에게는 미치지 못할 것입니다.	For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7	주님은 나의 피난처, 나를 재난에서 지켜 주실 분! 주께서 나를 보호하시니, 나는 소리 높여 주의 구원을 노래하렵니다. (셀라)	Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8	주께서 말씀하신다. "네가 가야 할 길을 내가 너에게 지시하고 가르쳐 주마. 너를 눈여겨 보며 너의 조언자가 되어 주겠다."	I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9	"재갈과 굴레를 씌워야만 잡아 둘 수 있는 분별없는 노새나 말처럼 되지 말아라."	Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10	악한 자에게는 고통이 많으나, 주님을 의지하는 사람에게는 한결같은 사랑이 넘친다.	Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11	의인들아, 너희는 주님을 생각하며, 즐거워하고 기뻐하여라. 정직한 사람들아, 너희는 다 함께 기뻐 환호하여라.	Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
