1	다윗 하나님, 나를 지켜 주십시오. 내가 하나님께로 피합니다.	Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2	나더러 하나님을 말하라면 "하나님은 나의 주님, 주님 밖에는 나의 행복이 없다" 하겠습니다.	O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3	땅에 사는 성도들을 말하라면 "성도들은 존귀한 사람들이요, 나의 기쁨이다" 하겠습니다.	But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4	다른 신들을 섬기는 자들은 더욱더 고통을 당할 것이다. 나는 그들처럼 피로 빚은 제삿술을 그 신들에게 바치지 않겠으며, 나의 입에 그 신들의 이름도 올리지 않겠다.	Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5	아, 주님, 주님이야말로 내가 받을 유산의 몫입니다. 주께서는 나에게 필요한 모든 것을 주십니다. 나의 운명은 주님의 손 안에 있습니다.	The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6	줄로 재어서 나에게 주신 그 땅은 나에게 기쁨을 주는 땅입니다. 참으로 나는, 빛나는 유산을 물려받았습니다.	The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7	주께서 날마다 좋은 생각을 주시며, 밤마다 나의 마음에 교훈을 주시니, 내가 그를 찬양한다.	I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8	주님은 언제나 나와 함께 계시는 분, 그가 나의 곁에 계시니, 나는 흔들리지 않는다.	I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9	주님, 참 감사합니다. 이 마음 기쁨으로 가득 차고, 이 몸이 아무런 위험도 느끼지 않는 까닭은	Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10	주께서 나를 보호하셔서 죽음의 세력이 나의 생명을 삼키지 못하게 하셨으며, 주님의 거룩한 자를 죽음의 세계에 버리지 않으셨기 때문입니다.	For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11	주께서 몸소 생명의 길을 나에게 보여 주시니, 주님을 모시고 사는 삶에 기쁨이 넘칩니다. 주께서 내 곁에 계시니, 이 큰 즐거움이 영원토록 이어질 것입니다.	Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
