1	이스라엘이 이집트에서 나올 때에, 야곱의 집안이 다른 언어를 쓰는 민족에게서 떠나올 때에,	When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2	유다는 주의 성소가 되고, 이스라엘은 그의 영토가 되었다.	Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3	바다는 그들을 보고 도망 쳤고, 요단 강은 뒤로 물러났으며,	The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4	산들은 숫양처럼 뛰놀고 언덕들도 새끼양처럼 뛰놀았다.	The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5	바다야, 너는 어찌하여 도망을 치고, 요단 강아, 너는 어찌하여 뒤로 물러났느냐?	What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6	산들아, 너희는 어찌하여 숫양처럼 뛰놀며, 언덕들아, 너희는 어찌하여 새끼양처럼 뛰놀았느냐?	Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7	땅아, 네 주님 앞에서 떨어라. 야곱의 하나님 앞에서 떨어라.	Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8	주님은 반석을 물웅덩이가 되게 하시며, 바위를 샘이 되게 하신다.	Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
