1	가나안 땅의 경계 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	"이스라엘 자손에게 명하여라. 그들에게 다음과 같이 말하여라. '너희는 이제 곧 가나안 땅에 들어가게 된다. 이 땅은 너희가 유산으로 받을 땅인데, 다음과 같이 사방 경계를 정한 가나안 땅 전체를 일컫는다.	Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
3	너희 영토의 남쪽은 에돔의 경계선과 맞닿는 신 광야에서부터 시작된다. 그러므로 너희 영토의 남쪽 경계는 동쪽의 사해 끝에서부터 시작된다.	Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
4	너희의 경계선은 아그랍빔 비탈 남쪽을 돌아, 신을 지나 가데스바네아 남쪽 끝까지 갔다가, 또 하살아달로 빠져 아스몬까지 이른다.	And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh–barnea, and shall go on to Hazar–addar, and pass on to Azmon:
5	경계선은 더 연장되어, 아스몬에서부터 이집트 국경지대의 강을 따라, 지중해가 시작되는 곳까지 이른다.	And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
6	서쪽 경계는 지중해와 그 해안선이다. 이것이 너희의 서쪽 경계가 될 것이다.	And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
7	너희의 북쪽 경계는 다음과 같다. 지중해에서부터 호르 산까지 너희는 경계선을 그어라.	And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
8	또 호르 산에서부터는 하맛 어귀로 경계선을 그어 스닷 끝까지 이르면,	From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
9	경계선은 거기에서 다시 시브론을 거쳐서 하살에난 끝까지 이른다. 이것이 너희 영토의 북쪽 경계이다.	And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar–enan: this shall be your north border.
10	너희의 영토의 동쪽 경계를 하살에난에서부터 스밤까지 그어라.	And ye shall point out your east border from Hazar–enan to Shepham:
11	경계선은 여기에서 더 연장되어, 스밤에서부터 아인 동쪽 리블라까지 내려갔다가, 동쪽의 긴네렛 바다 해변까지 더 내려간다.	And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
12	거기에서 다시 경계는 요단으로 내려가, 사해 끝에서 멈춘다.이것이 너희 땅의 사방 경계이다.'"	And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
13	모세는 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하였다. "이 땅은 너희가 제비를 뽑아 받을 유산이다. 주께서는 아홉 지파와 반쪽 지파에게 주도록 명하셨다.	And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
14	르우벤 자손의 지파가 조상 집안을 따라, 그리고 갓 자손 지파가 조상 집안을 따라 그들의 유산을 받도록 하고, 므낫세의 반쪽 지파도 유산을 받도록 하여라.	For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
15	나머지 두 지파와 반쪽 지파는 그들의 유산을 해 뜨는 쪽, 요단 강 동쪽에 있는 여리고에서 이미 차지하였다."	The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16	각 지파의 유산 분할 책임자 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17	"너희에게 유산으로 땅을 나누어 줄 사람들의 이름은, 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아이다.	These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18	너희는 또 땅을 유산으로 나누어 줄 사람을 지파마다 한 사람씩 대표로 뽑아라."	And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
19	다음은 그 사람들의 명단이다. 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요,	And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20	시므온 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스므엘이요,	And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21	베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이요,	Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22	단 자손 지파에서는 요글리의 아들 북기 족장이요,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23	요셉 자손 가운데 므낫세 자손의 지파에서는 에봇의 아들 한니엘 족장이요,	The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24	에브라임 자손의 지파에서는 십단의 아들 그므엘 족장이요,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25	스불론 자손의 지파에서는 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반 족장이요,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26	잇사갈 자손 지파에서는 앗산의 아들 발디엘 족장이요,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27	아셀 자손의 지파에서는 슬로미의 아들 아히훗 족장이요,	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28	납달리 자손의 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 브다헬 족장이다.	And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29	이들은 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 유산을 나누어 주도록 주께 명령을 받은 이들이다.	These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
