1	나병 환자를 깨끗하게 하시다(막 1:40-45; 눅 5:12-16) 예수께서 산에서 내려오시니, 많은 무리가 그를 따라갔다.	When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2	나병 환자 한 사람이 예수께 다가와 절하면서 "주님, 하고자 하시면, 나를 깨끗하게 해주실 수 있습니다" 하고 말하였다.	And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3	예수께서 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시고 "그렇게 해주마. 깨끗하게 되어라" 하고 말씀하시니, 곧 그의 나병이 나았다.	And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4	예수께서 그에게 "아무에게, 아무 말도 하지 말아라. 가서, 제사장에게 네 몸을 보이고, 모세가 명령한 예물을 드려서, 사람들에게 증거로 삼도록 하여라" 하고 말씀하셨다.	And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
5	백부장의 종을 고치시다(눅 7:1-10; 요 4:43-54) 예수께서 가버나움에 들어가셨을 때에, 한 백부장이 다가와서, 그에게 간청하여	And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6	말하기를 "주님, 내 종이 중풍으로 집에 누워서 몹시 괴로워하고 있습니다" 하였다.	And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7	예수께서 "내가 가서 고쳐 주마" 하고 말씀하셨다.	And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8	백부장이 대답하여 말하였다. "주님, 나는 주님을 내 집에 모셔 들일 만한 자격이 없습니다. 그저 말씀만 해주십시오. 그러면 내 종이 나을 것입니다.	The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9	나도 상관을 모시는 사람이고, 내 밑에도 병사들이 있어서, 내가 이 사람더러 가라고 하면 가고, 저 사람더러 오라고 하면 옵니다. 또 내 종더러 이것을 하라고 하면 합니다."	For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10	예수께서 이 말을 들으시고, 놀랍게 여기셔서, 따라오는 사람들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 나는 지금까지 이스라엘 사람 가운데서는 아무에게서도 이런 믿음을 본 일이 없다.	When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11	내가 너희에게 말한다. 많은 사람이 동과 서에서 와서, 하늘 나라에서 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 함께 잔치 자리에 앉을 것이다.	And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12	그러나 이 나라의 아들들은 바깥 어두운 데로 쫓겨나서, 거기에서 울며 이를 갈 것이다."	But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13	그리고 예수께서 백부장에게 "가거라. 네가 믿은 대로 일이 될 것이다" 하고 말씀하셨다. 그런데 바로 그 시각에 그 종이 나았다.	And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
14	많은 사람을 고치시다(막 1:29-34; 눅 4:38-41) 예수께서 베드로의 집에 들어가셔서, 그의 장모가 열병으로 앓아 누운 것을 보셨다.	And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
15	예수께서 그 여자의 손에 손을 대시니 열병이 떠나고, 그 여자는 일어나서, 그의 시중을 들었다.	And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
16	날이 저물었을 때에, 사람들이 귀신 들린 사람을 많이 예수께로 데리고 왔다. 예수께서는 말씀으로 귀신을 내쫓으시고, 또 병자를 모두 고쳐 주셨다.	When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17	이것은 예언자 이사야를 시켜서 하신 말씀을 이루려고 하신 것이었다. "그는 몸소 우리의 병약함을 떠맡으시고, 우리의 질병을 짊어지셨다."	That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
18	예수를 따르려면(눅 9:57-62) 예수께서, 무리가 자기 옆에 둘러 서 있는 것을 보시고, 제자들에게 건너편으로 가자고 이르셨다.	Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
19	율법학자 한 사람이 다가와서 예수께 말하기를 "선생님, 나는 선생님이 가시는 곳이면, 어디든지 따라가겠습니다" 하였다.	And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
20	예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "여우도 굴이 있고, 하늘을 나는 새도 보금자리가 있으나, 인자는 머리 둘 곳이 없다."	And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21	또 제자 가운데 하나가 "주님, 내가 먼저 가서, 아버지의 장례를 치르게 허락하여 주십시오" 하고 말하였다.	And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
22	예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 나를 따라오너라. 죽은 사람들의 장례는 죽은 사람들이 치르게 두어라."	But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
23	풍랑을 잔잔하게 하시다(막 4:35-41; 눅 8:22-25) 예수께서 배에 오르시니, 제자들이 그를 따랐다.	And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24	그런데 바다에 큰 풍랑이 일어나서, 배가 물결에 막 뒤덮일 위험에 빠지게 되었다. 예수께서는 주무시고 계셨다.	And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25	제자들이 다가가서 예수를 깨우며 "주님, 살려 주십시오. 우리가 죽게 되었습니다" 하고 말하였다.	And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26	예수께서 그들에게 "왜들 무서워하느냐? 믿음이 적은 사람들아!" 하고 말씀하시고 나서, 일어나서 바람과 바다를 꾸짖으시니 바다가 아주 잔잔해졌다.	And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27	사람들은 놀라서 말하였다. "이분이 누구이기에, 바람과 바다까지도 이분에게 복종하는가?"	But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
28	귀신 들린 두 사람을 고치시다(막 5:1-20; 눅 8:26-39) 예수께서 건너편 가다라 사람들의 지역에 가셨을 때에, 귀신 들린 사람 둘이 무덤 사이에서 나오다가, 예수와 마주쳤다. 그들이 너무나 사나웠으므로, 아무도 그 길을 지나다닐 수 없었다.	And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29	그들은 "하나님의 아들이여, 당신이 우리와 무슨 상관이 있습니까? 때가 되기도 전에 우리를 괴롭히려고 여기에 오셨습니까?" 하고 외쳤다.	And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
30	마침 거기에서 멀리 떨어진 곳에, 놓아 기르는 큰 돼지 떼가 있었다.	And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
31	귀신들이 예수께 "우리를 쫓아내시려거든, 우리를 저 돼지들 속으로 들여보내 주십시오" 하고 간청하였다.	So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
32	예수께서 "가라" 하고 명하시니, 귀신들이 나와서 돼지들 속으로 들어갔다. 그 돼지 떼가 모두 바다 쪽으로 비탈을 내리달아서, 물 속에 빠져 죽었다.	And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
33	돼지를 치던 사람들이 도망 가서, 읍내에 들어가, 이 모든 일과 귀신 들린 사람들에게서 일어난 일을 퍼뜨렸다.	And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
34	그래서 온 읍내 사람들이 예수를 만나러 나왔다. 그들은 예수를 보고, 자기네 지역을 떠나 달라고 간청하였다.	And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.
