1	이혼 문제(막 10:1-12) 예수께서는 이 말씀을 마치시고, 갈릴리를 떠나 요단 강 건너편 유대 지역으로 가셨다.	And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan;
2	많은 무리가 예수를 따라왔다. 예수께서는 거기에서 그들을 고쳐 주셨다.	And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
3	바리새파 사람들이 예수께 다가와서, 그를 시험하려고 물었다. "무엇이든 이유만 있으면, 남편이 아내를 버려도 됩니까?"	The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4	예수께서 대답하여 말씀하셨다. "너희는, 창조주께서 처음부터 '사람을 남자와 여자로 만드시고'	And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5	말씀하시기를 '그러므로 남자는 부모를 떠나, 자기 아내와 합하여 둘이 한 몸이 되어야 한다' 하신 것을 아직 읽어 보지 못하였느냐?	And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6	따라서 그들은 이제 둘이 아니라, 한 몸이다. 그러므로 하나님이 짝지어 주신 것을 사람이 갈라 놓아서는 안 된다."	Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
7	그들이 예수께 말하였다. "그러면, 어찌하여 모세는 이혼 증서를 써 주고 아내를 버리라고 명령하였습니까?"	They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8	예수께서 대답하셨다. "모세는 너희의 마음이 완악하기 때문에 아내를 버리는 것을 허락해 준 것이지, 본래부터 그랬던 것은 아니다.	He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9	내가 너희에게 말한다. 누구든지, 음행한 까닭이 아닌데도 아내를 버리고 다른 여자에게 장가 드는 사람은, 간음하는 것이다."	And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
10	제자들이 예수께 말하였다. "남편과 아내 사이가 그렇다면, 차라리 장가 들지 않는 것이 좋겠습니다."	His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11	예수께서 그들에게 대답하셨다. "누구나 다 이 말을 받아들이지는 못한다. 다만 타고난 사람들만이 받아들인다.	But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
12	모태로부터 그렇게 태어난 고자도 있고, 사람이 만들어서 된 고자도 있고, 또 하늘 나라 때문에 스스로 고자가 된 사람도 있다. 이 말을 받아들일 수 있는 사람은 받아들여라."	For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
13	어린이를 축복하시다(막 10:13-16; 눅 18:15-17) 그 때에 사람들이 어린이들을 예수께 데려와서, 손을 얹어 기도해 주시기를 바랐다. 그런데 제자들이 그들을 꾸짖었다.	Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14	그러나 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "어린이들이 내게 오는 것을 허락하고, 막지 말아라. 하늘 나라는 이런 사람들의 것이다."	But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15	그리고 그들에게 손을 얹어 주시고, 거기에서 떠나셨다.	And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16	부자 젊은이(막 10:17-31; 눅 18:18-30) 그런데 한 사람이 다가와서 예수께 말하였다. "선생님, 내가 영생을 얻으려면, 무슨 선한 일을 해야 합니까?"	And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17	예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "어찌하여 너는 나에게, 선한 일을 묻느냐? 선한 분은 오직 한 분뿐이시다. 네가 생명에 들어가고자 하거든, 계명들을 지켜라."	And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18	그러자 그는 예수께 "어느 계명들입니까?" 하고 물었다. 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "'살인하지 말아라, 간음하지 말아라, 도둑질하지 말아라, 거짓으로 증언하지 말아라,	He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19	부모를 공경하여라.' 그리고 '네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하여라' 하는 계명들이 있지 않으냐?"	Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20	그 젊은이가 예수께 말하였다. "나는 이 모든 것을 다 지켰습니다. 아직도 무엇이 부족합니까?"	The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21	예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "네가 완전한 사람이 되고자 하거든, 가서 네 소유를 팔아서, 가난한 사람에게 주어라. 그리하면, 네가 하늘에서 보화를 차지하게 될 것이다. 그리고 와서, 나를 따라라."	Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22	그러나 그 젊은이는 이 말씀을 듣고, 근심하면서 떠나갔다. 그에게는 재산이 많았기 때문이다.	But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23	예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하시기를 "내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 부자는 하늘 나라에 들어가기가 어렵다.	Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24	내가 다시 너희에게 말한다. 부자가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 낙타가 바늘귀로 지나가는 것이 더 쉽다" 하시니,	And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25	제자들이 이 말씀을 듣고, 매우 놀라서 "그러면, 누가 구원을 받을 수 있겠습니까?" 하고 말하였다.	When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26	예수께서 그들을 눈여겨 보시고, 말씀하셨다. "사람은 이 일을 할 수 없으나, 하나님은 무슨 일이나 다 하실 수 있다."	But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27	그 때에 베드로가 대답하여 예수께 말하였다. "보십시오, 우리는 모든 것을 버리고, 선생님을 따라왔습니다. 그러니 우리가 무엇을 받겠습니까?"	Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28	예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 새 세상에서 인자가 자기의 영광스러운 보좌에 앉고 만물이 새롭게 될 때에, 나를 따라온 너희도 열두 보좌에 앉아서, 이스라엘의 열두 지파를 심판할 것이다.	And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29	내 이름을 위하여 집이나 형제나 자매나 부모나 자녀나 논밭을 버린 사람은, 백 배나 받을 것이요, 또 영생을 상속받을 것이다.	And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30	그러나 첫째가 꼴찌가 되고 꼴찌가 첫째가 되는 사람이 많을 것이다."	But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
