1	세상 법정에 소송하지 말라 여러분 가운데서 어떤 이가 다른 사람을 걸어 소송할 일이 있을 경우에, 성도들 앞에서 해결지으려고 하지 않고, 불의한 자들 앞에서 소송한다고 하니, 그럴 수 있습니까?	Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2	여러분은, 성도들이 세상을 심판할 것임을 알지 못합니까? 세상이 여러분에게 심판을 받겠거늘, 여러분에게 가장 작은 사건 하나를 심판할 자격이 없겠습니까?	Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3	여러분은, 우리가 천사들도 심판할 것임을 알지 못합니까? 그러한데, 하물며 이 세상 일들이겠습니까?	Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4	그러니 여러분에게 일상의 문제에서 생기는 소송이 있을 경우에, 여러분은 교회에서 멸시하는 바깥 사람들을 재판관으로 세우겠습니까?	If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5	나는 여러분을 부끄럽게 하려고 이 말을 합니다. 여러분 가운데는 신도들 사이에서 생기는 문제를 해결해 줄 만큼 지혜 있는 사람이 하나도 없습니까?	I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6	그래서 신도가 신도와 맞서 소송을 할 뿐 아니라, 그것도 불신자 앞에서 한다는 말입니까?	But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
7	여러분이 서로 소송을 제기하는 것부터가 벌써 여러분의 실패를 뜻합니다. 왜 차라리 불의를 당해 주지 못합니까? 왜 차라리 속아 주지 못합니까?	Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
8	그런데 도리어 여러분 스스로가 불의를 행하고, 속여 빼앗는데, 그것도 신도들에게 그런 일을 하고 있습니다.	Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
9	불의한 자가 하나님의 나라를 상속받지 못하리라는 것을, 여러분은 알지 못합니까? 착각하지 마십시오. 음란한 자나, 우상을 숭배하는 자나, 간음하는 자나, 남창노릇을 하는 자나 동성연애를 하는 남자나,	Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10	도둑질하는 자나, 탐욕을 부리는 자나, 술 취하는 자나, 남을 중상하는 자나, 남의 것을 약탈하는 자들은, 하나님의 나라를 상속받지 못할 것입니다.	Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11	여러분 가운데 이런 사람이 더러 있었습니다. 그러나 여러분은 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 성령으로 씻어 주심을 받고, 거룩하게 하여 주심을 받고, 의롭게 하여 주심을 받았습니다.	And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12	몸으로 하나님을 영화롭게 하라 "모든 것이 나에게 허용되어 있습니다." 그러나 모든 것이 유익한 것은 아닙니다. "모든 것이 나에게 허용되어 있습니다." 그러나 나는 아무것에도 제재를 받지 않겠습니다.	All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13	"음식은 배를 위한 것이고, 배는 음식을 위한 것입니다." 그러나 하나님께서는 이것도 저것도 다 없애 버리실 것입니다. 몸은 음행을 위하여 있는 것이 아니라, 주님을 위하여 있는 것이며, 주님은 몸을 위하여 계십니다.	Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14	하나님께서 주님을 살리셨으니, 그 권능으로 우리도 살리실 것입니다.	And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15	여러분의 몸이 그리스도의 지체라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 그런데 내가 그리스도의 지체를 떼어다가 창녀의 지체를 만들 수 있겠습니까? 그럴 수 없습니다.	Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16	창녀와 합하는 사람은 그와 한 몸이 된다는 것을 알지 못합니까? "두 사람이 한 몸이 될 것이다" 하신 말씀이 있습니다.	What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17	주님과 합하는 사람은 그와 한 영이 됩니다.	But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18	음행을 피하십시오. 사람이 짓는 다른 모든 죄는 자기 몸 밖에 있지만, 음행하는 사람은 자기 몸에다가 죄를 짓는 것입니다.	Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19	여러분의 몸은 성령의 전입니다. 여러분은 하나님으로부터 성령을 받아서 여러분 안에 모시고 있습니다. 여러분은 여러분이 스스로의 것이 아니라는 것을 알지 못합니까?	What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20	하나님께서 값을 치르고 여러분을 사셨습니다. 그러니 여러분의 몸으로 하나님을 영화롭게 하십시오.	For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
